It’s rivalry week in college football, and you can throw team records right out the window. SBR handicapping Pro Ross Benjamin has 3 spot on NCAAF Picks, and he’s combining them into a trio of 2-team parlays.

Ross’ "College Football Record" is an outstanding 40-20 (67%) ATS!

Notre Dame vs USC 3:30 PM ET

These are 2 teams that have been headed down opposite paths for quite some time now. USC will enter this game riding a 7-game win streak, and that includes 5 straight covers with a victory margin of 23.0 points per contest. Conversely, Notre Dame is enduring an underachieving 4-7 campaign thus far, and this will be their first losing season since 2007.

Notre Dame squandered a huge lead in last Saturday’s 34-31 home loss to Virginia Tech. On the other hand, USC comes off a 36-14 win over UCLA last week, and easily covered as a 13.0-point favorite. At the time of this writing (11/25), college football betting odds at has USC as a 17.0-point home favorite. This sets up an extremely profitable betting angle illustrated below.

Any home favorite of 16.5 to 21.0 (USC), coming off a SU&ATS win in which they covered as a favorite of 11.0 or more, versus an opponent (Notre Dame) coming off a home game in which both teams scored 31 points or more, resulted in those home favorites going 11-0 SU&ATS since 1995. The average victory margin in those 11 contests was 28.8 points per game.

Florida International vs Old Dominion 3:30 PM ET

Old Dominion was a 42-24 winner this past Saturday over Florida Atlantic. Conversely, Florida International defeated Marshall last week 31-14 as a 3.0-point home underdog. Against the spread betting history has shown teams coming off these types of results, and then face each other in their next games, drastically leans toward the home favorite cashing tickets. The exact betting parameters and ATS results are displayed in the following paragraph.

Any home favorite of 8.0 to 15.0 (ODU), coming off a conference win by 10 points or more, versus an opponent (FIU) coming off a conference home underdog straight up win, resulted in those home favorites going 34-6 ATS (85.0%) since 1993. The numbers don’t lie, and it certainly bodes well for one of my college football week 13 predictions.

Utah State vs BYU 10:15 PM ET

BYU had an extremely tough first 7 games of their schedule. The Cougars will enter Saturday’s game with a 7-4 record, and those 4 losses came by a combined 8 points. Since starting 1-3, BYU has won 6 of its last 7, and their only blemish came at Boise State by the slimmest of margins 28-27. BYU has blown out each of their past 2 opponents by scores of 37-7 and 51-9.

After enjoying plenty of success in recent seasons, this has been a down year for Utah State. The Aggies come into their regular season finale sporting a dismal 3-8 (.273) record, and have gone 0-4 SU&ATS in its last 4. This past Saturday they fell at home to Colorado State 38-37.

Any favorite of 13.5 to 28.5 (BYU), coming off 2 straight wins by 28 points or more on each occasion, versus an opponent (Utah State) with a .125 or better win percentage, and they allowed 37 points or more in their previous game, resulted in those home favorites going 42-8 ATS (84%) since 1988.
