The Buffalo Bulls and Toledo Rockets have two of the better running games in the MAC, as the two teams prepare to face off Tuesday night. Where do we believe the best value lies?

Let’s take a closer look at the college football betting odds for this primetime matchup at The Glass Bowl, with the opening kickoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.

Buffalo has won seven games in a row since opening its season with a pair of losses against Baylor and Ohio State, including a 30-3 victory over the Ohio Bobcats as four-point home favorites last Tuesday.

The Bulls are 3-17 SU and 11-9 ATS as an underdog the last two-plus seasons, with the UNDER going 12-8 in that situation

Keep an eye on the injury report

Toledo had no trouble securing a 55-16 victory over Eastern Michigan as 30.5-point home favorites on Nov. 2, but played that affair without four starting players, including running back David Fluellen.

Fluellen is second in the MAC in averaging 133.4 rushing yards per game, but he hurt his leg in the first quarter against Bowling Green on Oct. 26—leaving his status unknown for this matchup.

Quite a performance

Bulls running back Branden Oliver rushed for a career-high 249 yards against the Bobcats—the most in that particular category for the school in the Division I era.

Buffalo has averaged 36.5 points over its last six games, while scoring 30 points or more in six straight contests for the first time in program history.

Hold the line

College football handicappers will want to take a look at the matchup between Toledo’s offensive line against Buffalo’s defensive line, as it will likely determine the outcome of this football game.

The Rockets have allowed just four sacks on the season, which is the fewest in college football, but they’ll have to deal with Bulls linebacker Khalil Mack.

I’m going to recommend that readers play the total for their college football pick, as the OVER is 3-0 in the Bulls’ three games this season when kicking off as an underdog.
