We bring you SBR's rount table and preview this monster matchup as Alabama prepares to battle Auburn and avenge last year's crushing defeat during Rivalry Weekend.

Certainly not condoning that, but the state will shut down for three-plus hours. Auburn was overrated coming into the season and remains so. Alabama is out for blood after last season. Tide win rather easily.

ATS
The Iron Bowl winner has played for the national title four straight seasons and there's still a good shot that streak continues if Alabama wins Saturday night. The Tide clinch the SEC West with a victory, not to
mention finally put last season's incredible ending behind them. Alabama could still win the West if Mississippi State lost earlier Saturday. All Auburn can do here is play spoiler and ruin its hated rival's chance at the College Football Playoff. Alabama is -9.5 which seems rather high.

Total
Total of 53.5. The Tide's No. 2 scoring defense hasn't allowed more than 21 points since the season opener against West Virginia. Auburn's defense isn't in the same ballpark, allowing 38 points to Mississippi State, 41 to Texas A&M and 34 to Georgia. The Dawgs also held that high-powered Auburn offense to just seven points. Go under.

Free College Football Pick: Alabama ATS & 'Under' at 5Dimes

Handicapper Ross Benjamin:
Any conference home favorite (Alabama) of 3.5 to 10.0 in a game that involves both teams who average 34-points or more per game, has gone 42-18 ATS (70%) since 1992. Play on Alabama minus the points over Auburn..

ATS
One can certainly make the case that the best and most fierce rivalry in recent years has been the Iron Bowl between Auburn and Alabama. These teams have combined to win 4 of the last 5 national championships, and at least one of these teams has appeared in each of the last 5 BCS Championship games. There's certainly a realistic possibility of that happening again this season. Alabama just needs to beat Auburn and win the SEC Championship Game and they will be a mortal lock to be part of the college football 4-team playoff on New Year's Day. Auburn's hopes of doing so faded away after late season losses to Texas A&M and Georgia. The Tigers are still a very dangerous football team, and would like nothing better than to spoil their fiercest rival's nation championship aspirations.

Total
Alabama has seen 5 of their last 6-games versus SEC opponents stay under the total. However, their last 3 meetings versus Auburn have all gone over the total. Auburn has seen 3 of their 4-games on the road stay under the total this season. I will be avoiding the total in this contest. If I had any kind of lean it would be toward going over the total.

Free College Football Pick: Alabama -8.5 & 'Over'

Rivarly Weekend Betting Preview: Auburn vs. Alabama

Handicapper Jeff Grant:
The Crimson Tide are banged up on the offensive end, which means their defense led by safety Landon Collins will need to show up in a big way.

I expect the UNDER to move to 7-1 in the last eight installments of this in-state rivalry when played in Tuscaloosa.

ATS
Auburn has faced a top-notch schedule in 2014, with 10 of its 11 FBS opponents are already bowl-eligible this season, as Alabama focuses on gaining revenge for last year’s loss in the Iron Bowl.

Total
Both teams have done a tremendous job of converting third downs on the offensive end this year, which makes a high-scoring affair possible, especially with the OVER being 3-1-1 in the last five meetings.

Free College Football Pick: Bet the 'Under' at The Greek

Handicapper Dave Lawrence:
There is no way Alabama loses here. This is revenge. Alabama has gotten stronger as the year has gone on while Auburn has back-to-back SEC losses. The magic just isn't there.

ATS
The Crimson Tide often play their best on a big stage—clearly demonstrated in their 16-6 SU record when making an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay under Nick Saban. This should be an under. I see Alabama doing most of the scoring but not a whole lot for Auburn. The Tide will run the ball, milk the clock and keep Nick Marshall and company on the sidelines. Auburn isn't the same unless they get their rhythm.

Total
This should be an under. I see Alabama doing most of the scoring but not a whole lot for Auburn.
