Will the Ducks continue to close out the season strong? Winners of two straight, they'll be searching for a third win in a row when they host California as the college football odds-on favorites.

Odds Overview
It looks like Oregon's starting to figure it out again, as they've reeled off two nice wins ahead of this home battle with California.

Looking over the college football odds, we see the Ducks favored by four points at most of the top online sportsbooks, though some sites do have a number of four and a half available. We can expect a lot of points to be scored in this Pac-12 showdown, with the O/U currently quoted all the way up at 75.5 points.

Oregon Ducks
Don't count out the Ducks just yet. They hit a rough patch there in the middle of the season, but they've pulled off two road victories in a row, beating Washington 26-20 and then Arizona State 61-55 last week.

In a thriller against the Sun Devils, Oregon outlasted the home team and ended up winning on a controversial touchdown. That shouldn't take away from what was a gutsy overall performance and incredibly efficient offensive display from QB Vernon Adams Jr. and company. Adams ended up with 315 passing yards and four touchdown passes, with Darren Carrington, Bralon Addison and Dwayne Stanford (twice) all finding the end zone. The running game was clicking too, as Royce Freeman totaled 15 carries for 112 yards and two rushing scores.

It must be a relief for Oregon fans to see their team getting it going offensively again, and the timing couldn't be much better ahead of what's likely to turn into a high-scoring game against a Golden Bears team that's been scoring plenty as well.

California Golden Bears
What a tale of two halves it's been for the Golden Bears. They opened their season with five consecutive victories, with wins over solid programs like Texas, Washington and Washington State mixed in there. However, they've since fallen apart, losing three games (at Utah, at UCLA and at home to USC) in a row to drop to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in conference play.

Last week's loss to the Trojans had to sting, as California had their chances at home, only to fall short by six points. Jared Goff was 23-of-31 for 272 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, while Daniel Lasco ended up with 64 rushing yards and a score in the defeat. Bryce Treggs was the leading receiver for the Golden Bears, catching four passes for 85 yards and a score. Cal just couldn't make enough plays when it mattered down the stretch though.

Spirits clearly have to be pretty low for the Golden Bears, considering they haven't been on the winning side for weeks now. We'll surely get a spirited effort from this group, but the task is going to be tough against a resurgent Oregon squad.

Betting Analysis
The Ducks have been finding their groove again, and while we expect a stiff challenge from the Golden Bears, we don't see them being able to do enough to win on the road.

We feel a lot more confident in this Oregon team now that Adams is back, healthy, and playing well at the helm of the offense. We've grown accustomed to seeing the Ducks practically score every time they touch the ball, and while they haven't been quite that proficient this season, they're still getting theirs. They are ranked top ten in points per game, after all.

With our college football picks, we're on Oregon to show up with another sound display. In what should turn into a Pac-12 shootout, we'll be backing the Ducks to make more plays and earn the cover on their home turf.
