The big college football moves from the opening line are all charted right here. See what the college odds are and where the sharp money is on Thursday.
111 Virginia Tech/112 Georgia Tech- Sharp money has come in on Va Tech +3.5 and +3. Two very inconsistent teams, but sharp bettors are looking for Va Tech to finish strong for departing coach Frank Beamer. I’d be careful. Next week is Beamer’s final home game when they play division leader North Carolina, then follow with their traditional finale against instate rival Virginia.
113 La Lafayette/114 South Alabama- The original move was on South Alabama which drove them from a small dog to a 3 point favorite. But now money has come back the other way. Latest sharp money is on U La La +3. South Alabama now -2 for your college football picks.
117 Pitt/118 Duke- Mostly public and some sharp money on Pitt +3.5 and +3. Duke now -3 even or -2.5. Duke didn’t show up last week, getting blasted by North Carolina after a disappointing last-play-of-the-game loss to Miami on a missed call. They let Miami essentially beat them twice, we’ll see if they let Miami beat them three times.
139 Tulane/140 Army- Some sharp money has come back on Tulane +3. Army now -2.5. The line has been going back and forth between -2.5 and -3 since it opened.
143 Temple/144 South Florida- More wiseguy money for their favorite team, South Florida. They started taking South Florida +4 and all the way down to +3 yesterday. Temple now -2.5 after the latest move.
145 Nebraska/146 Rutgers- Sharp money showed on Rutgers +9.5. Rutgers star, Leonte Carroo has been upgraded to probable. He is a big difference maker. Last week Rutgers was helpless without Carroo. Now they face Nebraska who might be celebrating after their big win over Michigan State last week.
153 Kentucky/154 Vanderbilt- Some sharp money showed on Vandy-3, now up to -3 with juice on the favorite or -3.5. You can still find some Vandy -3 in spots.
165 Washington State/166 UCLA- A steady stream of sharp money has shown for UCLA since yesterday afternoon. Started at UCLA -9.5 and now up to -10.5.
189 BYU/190 Missouri- More money for BYU after things are still settling at Missouri after the issues of last week. Some places still have it down, but those who have it up have gone from -6 to -6.5 and -7 on the college football odds.
