We are down to three weeks of betting college football for the regular season, thank goodness we have all the bowl games ahead. Before then, time to examine what teams could pull upsets this Saturday.

Doug's Record For These Upset Plays (19-17-1 ATS)

When looking over the college football odds at A+ rated BetOnline, found four contests that stand out like lazy advertisers pushing 'Black Friday' since the beginning of November.

We will be traveling from Carolina to the Rocky Mountains in search find money line plays or at the very least spread winners for college football picks.

Home Underdogs Who Could Flip the Script

We liked the Miami Hurricanes from the first time we saw them in 2016 and though they suffered four-game losing streak never putting tough loss to Florida State completely behind them, they have won last two outings and look back on course. However, N.C. State is 5-5 and has to have this one to become bowl eligible. With the Wolfpack, you never know week to week what to expect, thus, this is a little risky, but N.C. State is catching three points at home is 4-2 and 5-1 ATS in Raleigh and at +135 on the ML is worth consideration.

Not really sure what 5-5 Northwestern has accomplished to be 1.5-point favorite at Minnesota who is 7-3. The Golden Gophers are little stronger on offense (31.5 PPG vs. 25.3 PPG), with the Wildcats better on the defensive side (21.5 vs. 23.2). Even giving Northwestern the benefit of the doubt, Minnesota should be at least a two-point favorite. We acknowledge the 'Cats have a good ATS road history, but the Gophers are 6-0-1 ATS off a spread loss of late and win this outright.

 Huge Pac-12 Conflict

When the list of big games in the Pac-12 came out in the preseason, rest assured Washington State at Colorado was nowhere to be found. Yet, this matchup will go a long way for both teams possibly making the conference title game. Liked Colorado from their first game when they destroyed Colorado State. Nonetheless, this Washington State crew can score on anyone and its defense is very underrated. With the Cougars at +4.5 and or +170 on the money line and far more pressure on the Buffaloes to win, Wazzou has possibilities.

 Going Against Hot ATS Club

Colorado State is 8-2 ATS this season and at 5-5 needs, this MWC clash to be bowl eligible, because they are unlikely to find a win at San Diego State next week. The Rams are 4.5-point home favorites, yet what about New Mexico (7-3). The Lobos probably cannot win their division with loss to Boise State, but a win this week and next and they share the title with the Broncos at 7-1. One also has to realize, New Mexico is the top rushing team in the country and Colorado State is 95th stopping the run. Are the Lobos at +170 on the ML worth a look, you bet!
