Our very own SBR college football betting odds consultant has gone an incredible 24-7 (77.4%) this season. Join us in reading his college football betting article in the game between Utah/Arizona St.

Devil of a Time for the Utah
The 24th ranked Arizona State Sun Devils (6-1) will host #17 Utah (6-1) on Saturday in a PAC-12 battle in Tempe. The opening kickoff is slated for 11:00 PM ET and the game will be televised by Fox Sports1. According to the college football odds at Pinnacle, Arizona State is a 5.5 point favorite and the posted total is 57.5. Since joining the PAC-12 in 2012, Utah has lost all 3 of their encounters versus Arizona State, and all 3 of those games stayed under the total.

Road Warriors in 2014
Utah is coming off an emotional 24-21 home win over USC last Saturday. The win was their 3rd in a row since suffering their only loss of the season at home versus Washington State. The Utes have gone under the total in each of their past 5-games. It’s been an extremely difficult task when attempting to run the ball against the Utah defense. They’re allowing just 112 yards rushing per game, and a mere 2.8 yards per carry. The bad news is the Utah stop unit is allowing 265 yards per game in the air. The Utes went a dismal 2-9 on the road in the past 2-seasons, and failed to cover in 8 of those 11-contests. However, this season they’ve gone a perfect 3-0 SU&ATS when traveling.

Gathering Momentum in Tempe
Things weren’t looking too promising for the Sun Devils after they suffered a humiliating 62-27 home defeat at the hands of UCLA in their 3rd game of the season. Since then, they’ve reeled off 3 impressive wins in a row over USC, Stanford, and Washington. Even more impressive was that 2 of the 3 came on the road. Their defense has been lights out in the last 2-games, allowing 10-points in each of those contests, holding Stanford to just 288-yards, and Washington to 290-yards. This is a dynamic offensive team that averages 36.6 points, and 489-yards per game. Arizona State has gone 5-1 ATS in their last 6-games as a conference home favorite of 3.5 or more, and won all 6 straight up.

Final Analysis
Utah is coming off 3-wins in a row versus conference opponents, while Arizona State won at Washington 24-10 in a PAC-12 battle last Saturday. This sets up an extremely profitable college football betting system that I’ll use to my advantage for one of my college football picks this week. Any favorite of 3.5 to 10.0, that’s playing in game 5 of the season or beyond, coming off a conference win by 12-points or more, versus an opponent coming off 2 consecutive conference wins in a row, has gone 61-19 ATS (76.3%) since the start of the 2006 season.
