Will the Bears continue to storm through the competition? They'll be at home to Iowa State and of course are favored by a huge margin on the college football odds board.

Odds Overview
High numbers abound on the college football odds board, which is no surprise considering Baylor is involved. The Bears are humungous 37-point favorites right now, which means they're obviously one of the strongest favorites out there for the eighth week of the college football season.

Then there's the game's total. The O/U is all the way up at 76 points, which is, again, not a shock. This Baylor offense is the scariest in the land, and they're going to drop at least 45 to 50 points themselves. At the very least.

Baylor Bears
It's just been utter domination out of the Bears this season, and as a result are #2 in the AP and Coaches polls. They're averaged a straight up ridiculous 61 points per game, the best number in all of college football, and they're not showing any signs of slowing down.

Looking closer at the numbers, we see just how dominant Baylor has been offensively. The passing game is averaging 371 yards per game, while the running game has accounted for 348.7 rushing yards a contest. Those marks are sixth-best and second-best, respectively, in the country. Given how unstoppable the Bears have been offensively, it hasn't mattered that their defense has been middle of the road - since they're scoring points so quickly, their defense is naturally going to be on the field more than normal. It's a testament to just how good Baylor has been.

Seth Russell has been a beast at the helm of the offense, as he already has 27 touchdown passes and five rushing scores through six games! Amazing. He's been dominating alongside a running back group led by Shock Linwood and a deep receiving corps that's headlined by Corey Coleman, who has racked up 41 catches for 877 yards and 16 touchdowns this season. Jay Lee and KD Cannon have also gotten heavily involved, as have Terence Williams and Johnny Jefferson out of the backfield.

Iowa State Cyclones
The Cyclones are 2-4 this season, with wins over Northern Iowa and Kansas and losses to Iowa, Toledo, Texas Tech and TCU. They've lost their last two games by a combined 59 points (against the Red Raiders and Horned Frogs, two prolific offenses), and now have to contend with the top overall offense in football.

Yeah, this one could get ugly in a hurry. No one has gotten even close to stopping this Baylor offense, and Iowa State has done little to prove they're going to buck that trend. Overall, the Cyclones are averaging 26 points per game (83th in the nation), while allowing 32 poins (95th) a contest.

Sam B. Richardson has had his moments but has been largely inconsistent, but the emergence of Mike Warren has been a nice surprise for Iowa State. He's averaged an excellent 7.0 yards per carry and has three touchdowns on the season.

NCAA Football Pick
At this point, there's no way we're going to pick against Baylor, no matter what kind of spread we have to deal with.

The Cyclones do have some offensive talent, and they'll put up some points, but there's little chance they'll have much success at all in stopping the Bears from scoring every time they touch the ball. Don't expect much defense in this one, as both offenses can and will score week in and week out. Thing is, Baylor's going to be scoring WAY more in this one.

So yes, we'll be adding the Bears to our college football picks for another busy Saturday of college football action. We just don't see Iowa State being able to keep pace for all four quarters against this juggernaut.
