The Wildcats have entered desperation mode after losing three in a row, and the road gets no easier against Utah this weekend. How can we best beat the college football odds?

Odds Overview
At time of writing, the Utes were favored by either 6 or 6.5 points on the College Football Odds Board, depending on your sportsbook of choice. The Wildcats are the home team on this occasion, and they do have talent, but they just haven't been getting the results, and that's why oddsmakers are behind Utah this weekend.

Wanting to roll with either an OVER or UNDER play instead? The total is trading at 63.5 points, and it's no surprise to see a relatively high number given the success both offenses have had throughout the season.

Arizona Wildcats
The Wildcats got off to a nice 5-2 start this season, but they've since collapsed, losing three games in a row as they prepare to host a very good Utah team. They lost by three at home to Washington State before dropping consecutive road games against Washington and then USC last week.

They certainly had their chances, and were leading the Trojans, but they just couldn't close out the game. QB Anu Solomon had a great game in the defeat, throwing for 352 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, and that made up for a lackluster showing from a running game that could only muster up 60 yards on 32 attempts.

Stud running back Nick Wilson was forced to miss the game once more, and his status for this coming Saturday is up in the air. Make sure to keep tracking the news throughout the week, as his return would be a big boost for Arizona.

Utah Utes
Who's in first place in Pac-12 South? Well, it's certainly not Arizona, Arizona State or Colorado, and no it's not USC or UCLA either. The title currently belongs to the 8-1 Utes, who have won five of their first six conference games.

They've bounced back nicely after a 42-24 road loss to USC, beating Oregon State 27-12 and then overcoming Washington 34-23 on the road last week. As a team, Utah's averaged an even 34.0 points per game on the season, with the defense showing up as well; that unit's surrendering only 21.6 points per game, which puts them 31st in the nation in that regard.

Up to #10 in the AP poll, the Utes are clearly high on confidence at the moment, and you can expect another heavy dose of running back Devontae Booker this weekend. He's been the focal point of the offense and has already racked up 1116 rushing yards, 303 receiving yards and 16 TDs.

NCAA Football Pick
The past month or so has clearly been rough for the Wildcats, but we're not going to give up all hope on them just yet. They've already dug a hole too big to climb out of in the Pac-12, but that doesn't mean they're just going to lay down and die for the remainder of their games. Pride is still at stake, as is a bowl berth.

The good news for Arizona is that they'll have the home-field advantage, and the Wildcats also have to be encouraged with how Solomon played in a valiant road loss versus the Trojans last week. The quarterback situation has been cloudy for Arizona this season, but things are a bit clearer now heading into this weekend, which translates into us being more confident in Arizona.

So while the Utes are enjoying one heck of a season, for this College Football Pick we like the value that's presented on the Wildcats at home. They should be motivated as ever to end this growing losing streak, so we expect them to show up with a determined effort and cover the number.
