Can Tennessee shock the nation and pull a huge upset by beating the Crimson Tide? Expert capper Charles Stark takes a look into the odds and analyzes if the Vols can pull it off. Get your free pick here!

 Alabama Crimson Tide

Last week Alabama gained 517 yards and turned two turnovers into two touchdowns beating Arkansas 49-30. This week they are favored by a similar number as they were versus the Razorbacks being favored by double digits on the road. Beating a good Arkansas team by 19 at their place definitely shows how opportunistic Alabama can be, however on closer look this game was actually a lot tighter than the final score. Arkansas garnered 473 total yards on their own with 400 of those coming through the air and had 25 first downs compared to Alabama's 16. The turnovers though absolutely killed Arkansas and as it seemed the Razorbacks were going in to score a touchdown and most likely cover the spread towards the end of the game Alabama picked them off and went a hundred yards for a pick six. What Alabama did do well though is run the ball gaining 264 yards on the ground and this will be a big point of contention today.  Still, I think it'll be tough for Alabama to pull off a double-digit win two weeks in a row on the road.

 Tennessee Volunteers

Last week versus Texas A&M Tennessee gained an incredible 684 total yards but gave up an also incredible 592 yards in a 45-38 loss in overtime to the Aggies at Kyle Field. What of course plagued the Volunteers was their unbelievable amount of turnovers in the form of five fumbles and two interceptions for seven total. I'm sure this week during practice this was a focal point as Alabama has been excellent this year and turning their defense into points. What does bode well for Tennessee are a few different factors in my opinion. First, they are playing at home, second, the Tide are making their second road trip in a row and might be a bit overconfident thinking they beat Arkansas worse than they actually did, and finally Tennessee is better than last year. Last season at Alabama, Tennessee gave them all they wanted losing 19-14 in a game that went down to the wire and statistically was really close as well. Look for a fired up Tennessee team to do the same this year.
