Among Saturday’s early gridiron action are a trio of ACC games, and we have free college football picks for all three to help build our bankrolls for the rest of the day's card.

NCAAF Season Record: 24-28-1 (+4.65)

After touring Bloody Mary bars in the Big 12 and Big Ten the past couple of weeks, we head to the ACC looking for early Saturday college football value plays. First stop is Chapel Hill, where the North Carolina Tar Heels entertain the No. 8 Miami Hurricanes. ESPN2 has the noon (ET) boot at Kenan Stadium and 5Dimes has the Hurricanes favored by 20½ with 54½ for the total.

In addition to wanting to stay undefeated to remain in the CFP race plus maintain at least a 1-game lead in the ACC Coastal Division, Miami will be out to stop a 2-game skid against the Tar Heels. Those two wins have helped UNC level this rivalry at 9-9, but the Tar Heels are still in search of their first conference win this year following 5 straight setbacks while also going 0-5 against the spread. North Carolina has cashed three of the last four meetings in this series, ‘over’ bettors going back to the pay window five of the last six in Chapel Hill.

Despite the ‘over’ trend at UNC, I’m seeing value on the ‘under’ in this one.

Wake Forest Seeking First-Ever Win Vs. The Ville

Roughly 20 minutes after the ‘Canes and Heels kick off, Louisville and Wake Forest get underway on the ACC Network. The Cardinals are 3-point favorites to move to 5-0 all-time vs. the Demon Deacons, with the scoreboard target sitting 63-64.

Though he has put up some nice numbers, it has been a disappointing season for reigning Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson and Louisville. Wake Forest, meanwhile, has dropped three in a row and allowed Georgia Tech to gash up and down the field for 427 rushing yards last week. Jackson and the Cards need to establish the pass to open up the ground game, and I think they can, at least enough to lay the points on Louisville for my free college football pick.

Rain Expected When Pitt Hosts Virginia

Last but not least, we wrap up our Bloody Mary beginning to Saturday in Pittsburgh as the Panthers host the Virginia Cavaliers. The 12:30 PM (ET) boot at Heinz Field is carrying the same NCAA football odds as Wake and Louisville with Pitt favored by a field goal, though the total is sliced down at 49½-50.

One reason for that lower total could be the fact there’s a 100% chance of rain during the day in Iron City, the thermometer never getting out of the 50s. Another reason is these are two of the least effective offenses in the country, both the Panthers and Cavaliers ranking in the bottom third in yardage and scoring. Virginia is coming off a demoralizing upset loss at home to Boston College, but I believe the Cavs bounce back to beat Pitt outright, so a money line play for me.

Free NCAAF Picks: Miami-UNC Under 54½; Louisville -3; Virginia +130

Best Lines Offered: BetOnline
