The Tigers have still yet to taste defeat this season as they get set to tangle with Miami (FL) this weekend. What kind of college football odds do we see available?

Odds Overview
Wherever you look, you'll see the Tigers favored in the 6.5 to 7-point range, despite the fact they'll be on the road team on this occasion.

A total of 56 points can be found on the college football odds board. Clemson has excelled defensively throughout the season, and both teams have the talent on the other side of the ball, so the number is right in line with what we were expecting.

Miami (FL) Hurricanes
The Hurricanes raced out to a 3-0 start with wins over Bethune-Cookman, Florida Atlantic and then Nebraska, but they then lost consecutive road games to Cincinnati and Florida State. This past week though, Miami was able to bounce back with a 30-20 home win over Virginia Tech.

It was a hard-fought effort out of the Hokies, but the Hurricanes prove dto be too much in the 30-20 win at home. Brad Kaaya had one of his more efficient performances of the season, throwing for 296 yards and two touchdowns without throwing an interception. Joseph Yearby was the leader in the backfield, carrying the ball 19 times for 60 yards and a score, while the Miami defense were able to make life difficult on opposing quarterbacks Brendan Motley and Michael Brewer, forcing three picks in total.

There's no denying the step-up in competition level this week for the Hurricanes, however. They'll have the benefit of being at home, but the Tigers have been a legit force in the college football world this season, and they've been installed as the odds-on favorites as a result. Will Miami show up and put up a good fight?

Clemson Tigers
Ranked #6 in both the AP and Coaches polls, and still yet to lose this season, the Tigers are quite rightly getting a lot of love from oddsmakers for this road game in South Beach. Clemson has passed every test that's been placed in front of them, and they've already beaten a couple solid programs in Notre Dame and Louisville, so it's not like they've been beating up on the weak solely.

Last week we witnessed the Tigers put their balance on full display against Boston College in a 34-17 win. The Eagles have one of the better defenses in the nation, so it was impressive to see Clemson assert their control over the tempo and, ultimately, the outcome of the game. Clemson improved to 6-0 with the victory at home.

The schedule isn't going to let up for the Tigers, though, as they'll face two road games in a row (at Miami and then at NC State) before returning home for a huge showdown with Florida State. It's a crucial stretch for Clemson, and the road's not going to be kind.

NCAA Football Pick
Though it's Clemson that has all the glitz and glamor from being undefeated, we look for a very competitive effort out of Miami (FL) at home this weekend.

That's what we've seen week in and weekout of these Hurricanes. They've yet to get totally outplayed, and they had their chances in each of their two losses this season. Kaaya has been playing very well and is going to make some plays here, hopefully enough to keep Miami with a fighting chance to win.

In the end, we're going to plant our flag in the Hurricanes' corner and back them to at least stay within a touchdown on Saturday. A small ML wager on the outright win may not be the worst idea in the world, either, as it wouldn't be all that shocking to see them accomplish that feat. We've seen far crazier things in college football. Back Miami as your college football pick.
