UCLA-Stanford, #7 Wazoo-Colorado in Enticing NCAA College Football Week 4 Matchups | Let’s do a post-mortem on the College Football Week 3 point spreads, take a look at some of the games which moved the most and what happened to their backers at the betting windows in a September weekend

Sharps Show Books Real Favorites in Minutes Sunday in San Jose Stae-Utah State and FAU-Buffalo Games

Nothing too surprising happened this past weekend in College Football Week 3 with Vanderbilt’s mild 14-7 upset over #18 Kansas State (KSU -34, BookMaker) and Idaho State’s outright wint as a 32½-point underdogs at Nevada in Reno on Saturday, 30-28 (ID ST +9,375 M/L), possibly being the most noteworthy. Favorites did very well again SU, going 53-12 after a 55-16 SU record in Week 2 (108-28 L2 weeks), while ATS Underdogs again got the butter in Week 3, going 35-28-2 (55.5%) after registering a 42-28-1 ATS mark in Week 2. In the Totals marketplace, the Under wasn’t as profitable as it was in Week 2 (48-23, 67.6%), going 32-31-2 while Home Teams were 46-19 SU (46-25 in Week 2), but again a money-burner at the betting windows with Road teams again covering ATS at a profitable rate in College Football, going 38-25-2 (60.3%) after racking up a 48-22-1 (67.6%) mark in Week 2, meaning Road teams have gone s solid 86-47-4 (64.7%) over the last two weeks.

Some Week 3 games which saw significant movement and the results: North Carolina (62.2% Consensus action) opened up at 7½ and was was bet all the way up to as high as 11½ (Bovada) and that was all smart money as the Tar Heels covered ATS easily, rolling to a 53-23 victory over the FCS Monarchs at Foreman Field in Norfolk on Saturday in a Non-Conference meeting...Appalachian State (60.1%) opened up at 25 and were bet down to 21½ at several shops and that was also smart money with Texas State covering ATS the entire way in a narrow 20-13 loss in Boone, NC...Arkansas State opened up as massive 58-point chalks over FCS school Arkansas Pine Bluff and were bet all the way down to 51 at some sportsbooks (YouWager) and although the hosts cruised to a 48-3 win, they also were never covering ATS making all that money also smart from the Public’s perspective.

Miami (Ohio) were installed as 7½-point Favorites and were bet all the way down to -3 in some places (Intertops), and all that Cincinnati (62.2%) action proved to be smart money with the Bearcats winning outright in Oxford, 20-17 in a Buckeye State Non-Conference battle on Saturday which saw Cincinnati also profit as +145 dogs on the Moneyline (5Dimes)...and, QB Sam Darnold (6/1 to win Heisman Trophy, Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook; opened 5/1) and #4 USC (55.8%) saw its line move from 14 to as high as 17½ (BetDSI) and all that Trojans dough never had a chance with Texas playing a strong game at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles on Saturday and easily covering the Point Spread all the way in a thrilling 27-24 Loss in OT.
