The college football season carries on into Week 10 and that means the hour grows short for a lot of teams. The bigger games you see later in the season’s schedule are here, check our top 3 picks.

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys
This is a game in which the big thing to note is that TCU’s defense just hasn’t played well this season. It has constantly been dogged by injuries and has an 11-man group consisting roughly of 45 to 50 percent original starters (going back to opening night) and 50 to 55 percent backups. This is a makeshift defense, and so as a result, you should not expect the Horned Frogs to do all that much on that side of the line of scrimmage. TCU has had to win shootouts this season, so if the Horned Frogs are to pull off another win, you should expect them to have a very tough time. TCU has simply not been able to achieve much separation from a number of the mid-level teams in the Big 12. Now, the Horned Frogs are beginning a month of November in which they’ll play the top of the league. Oklahoma State is one of the other two teams with an unbeaten record, and the Cowboys are good enough on offense to expose every last weakness on the TCU defense. Even if you think TCU will win, the Horned Frogs probably won’t cover the points. They might win by only a field goal, and that would still enable Oklahoma State to cover the .

Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Pittsburgh Panthers
The key point to make here is that Notre Dame played a poor game on offense last week in Philadelphia against Temple. DeShone Kizer had been making very good offensive reads for much of the season, but he took a definite step back against the Owls. Even on the game-winning touchdown pass in the final minutes, the Temple safety had an angle to the ball, but he misjudged the flight of the pass. The ball easily could have been intercepted, but instead, the play turned into a Notre Dame touchdown. Kizer had two other passes intercepted in the red zone. He struggled with his game. This might seem like a reason to pick Pittsburgh, but Kizer should be able to see what he did wrong in film study and come out like a new quarterback. This should enable Notre Dame to cover the college football odds.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Ole Miss Rebels
It’s true that Ole Miss is a better team playing at home. However, Arkansas has a tough and physical style of play. Since Ole Miss has a weak offensive line, Arkansas can win a lot of battles at the line of scrimmage and dictate the tempo of this game. The Razorbacks have turned their season around a little bit as they had a close loss to Texas A&M, then beat Tennessee, then had another close to Alabama, then won the last two weeks against Auburn and UT Martin. They enter this contest having won three of their last four. Ole Miss might win, but only by a touchdown or so. Take Arkansas plus the points for your college football picks.
