Since the NCAA institued the College Football Playoff, no bowl game has been more competitive than the Camellia Bowl. The betting market expects the battle of the Eagles bewteen Georgia Southern and Eastern Michigan in 2018 to stay the course. Here's what we mean.

2018 Camellia Bowl: Georgia Southern vs. Eastern Michigan

The Camellia Bowl, named after the Alabama state flower, is played at the historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery. Each season, the event pits a Sun Belt Conference representative versus a Mid-American one. Georgia Southern and Eastern Michigan accepted the 2018 invites. Oddsmakers expect a close battle, and for good reason. Every Cameillia Bowl has finished within one score. The game opened a pick ‘em.

Georgia Southern Eagles (9-3 SU, 9-3 ATS)

Georgia Southern claimed six FCS championships from 1985-2000, entering the FBS in 2014. In 2015, the program smashed Bowling Green 58-27 as a 4.5-point underdog in its only bowl game appearance. Current Georgia assistant head coach Dell McGee oversaw that victory.
