In an effort to always bring you the best here at Sports Book Review, we have developed a new element to lend you a helping hand for your college football picks against the sportsbooks betting odds.
Our team of experts have created our own college football power rankings which are score-differential based. Just like the ones we introduced in the NFL, we have developed a formula that that takes our number against the eventual outcome and adjust the power rankings accordingly from week to week, in similar fashion to what many of the college football handicappers, including many here that write articles or do videos for us.
Our goal is to help our readers and followers with a unique betting tool that could increase your understanding of all the teams and have a discussion point with these college power rankings.
Our intent is to make it easy to understand and you can see what teams have made improvements, regressed or stayed the same all season. While we have a modest variance in looking the college football odds, if you would like to play along, add four points to any home team. You can also see our Top 25, the listing next to the particular team, using this formula.

Sports Books Review : Situation Conference Games of the Week
AAC – We were in accord with the oddsmakers on Central Florida as -10 favorites, but others making sports picks have lowered the Knights
to -7. We disagree.
ACC – Last week we correctly said Pittsburgh would upset Virginia Tech and we come right back with the Hokies, this time having them as
live home underdogs. Our outright upsets are 12-6 ATS since Week 2.
Big 12 – While we respect what West Virginia is accomplishing; we are convinced Oklahoma State at -3 is the right choice with their home
Big Ten – We have Ohio State a couple points higher the most recent number and with the Buckeyes offense humming and Penn State
scuffling on offense, two touchdowns sounds right.
C-USA – The Rice Owls are four points lower than our projected line and with North Texas up and down they could cover. But if the same
Mean Green shows up as last week, Rice will roll.
Independents – No real differences with this group, but we’ll be watching to see if BYU can overcome mistakes and cover at Boise State.
MAC – Though Akron is the sportsbooks favorite, we have Ball State winning outright as underdogs over the Zips on their home field.
MWC – No doubt in our mind Nevada is six points better than Hawai’i as our Power Rankings suggest, but we do respect the Warriors at
home as underdogs.
Pac-12 – Arizona State moved into our Top 25 and is 6-1 ATS at Washington, but our figures are calling for the Huskies to come through as
SEC – We have Mississippi State three points lower than the oddsmakers and will be curious as to how the Bulldogs react to being No. 1
playing on the road.
Sun Belt – Georgia Southern has the ground game to justify being -17 point favorites over Georgia State, but the home team proved last
week they could keep it closer to our number of 12.
