Unibet Sportsbook downgraded

profile

However, Unibet Sportsbook has not returned the player’s deposit, and is not speaking to SBR.

Earlier this year, SBR reported of a similar complaint — a player reported that his €10,100 balance was frozen. The user deposited €3,800 on March 6-7th, primarily to wager on Champion League matches. The player went on a good run, increasing his balance to €11,600, before successfully ordering a €1,500 Skrill withdrawal. Unibet then closed the player’s account, providing no explanation.

On April 13th, 2012, SBR reported that Unibet agreed to acquire Bet24 Sportsbook. Unibet agreed to acquire Bordic Betting Ltd, the operator of Bet25 (SBR rating C). The acquisition was for a reported €13.5 million.

Unibet is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm, and has been in operation since 1997. Unibet is licensed by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) of Malta.

Unibet has not provided comment to SBR on their outstanding player disputes. Unibet has been downgraded to C and may face additional downgrades should these matters not be resolved.
