Unibet Sportsbook confiscates balance

A Unibet Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has filed a sportsbook complaint against the betting site.

The player has stated that his account with Unibet was blocked and that he no longer has access to his balance, which is over €200.

The player was given a generic explanation which basically stated Unibet owed no explanation, and he says he has no idea what he has done wrong.

The following generic reason was given to the player:

Account Rules: 2.3 (excerpt)

"Unibet reserves the right, at its own discretion, at all times, to: Decline to open a Unibet Account and/or to close an existing Unibet Account, without any explanation whatsoever; Forfeit and/or confiscate funds available on a Unibet Account and/or refuse to honour a claim, in the event that, directly or indirectly, the Unibet Rules have been violated and/or other unauthorised activities have occurred in connection with a betting event and/or the operation of a Unibet Account. This is subject to any of the said events being in connection with the Unibet Account and/or the claim in question;"
