SportingBet.com refused to credit an earned bonus to a player in a dispute covered by SBR this summer. The player signed up to take advantage of a “risk free” bonus promotion, which only required the player’s first wager to be placed at odds of 1.5 or greater. The player made one such wager, but was never credited the £50 free bet by SportingBet.
SBR followed up on the bonus complaint, however, SportingBet cited house policy that allowed for any bonus offering to not be honored at its own discretion. The Alderney Gambling Control Commission rubberstamped SportingBet’s decision.
