TowerGaming disputes history
SBR reported on 20 January 2012 that two players had €381 in winnings confiscated.
The winnings were voided on the grounds that the players were not welcome to receive the starter bonus, as it was only intended for recreational players. The repor by SBR led to additional disputes where users echoed the same story: TowerGaming was confiscating winnings across the board from players considered too sophisticated to maintain accounts.
The industry standard way of denying a punter's business is to pay all winnings then close his account, prorating whatever bonus winnings are not yet fully rolled over.
On 10 February 2012, after many discussions with SportsbookReview.com, TowerGaming agreed to credit all winnings in the confiscation disputes involving non-recreational bettors.
