An MB24 Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player has filed a complaint against the betting site.
The player's account was closed with a balance of €724. He opened his account in December and sent all of his personally identifying documents one month later. This is where he ran into trouble: He says he was accused of operating multiple accounts, a charge he adamantly denies.
MB24 previously operated as Mobibet. SBR reported on the rebranding October 27 of last year.
Mobibet was added to the sportsbook blacklist March of 2014 after refusing to pay eleven players who had their winnings confiscated on the grounds of irregular betting patterns. SBR spent 90 minutes on the telephone with Mobibet executives to no avail.
MB24 uses the OddsMatrix wagering pattern.
One piece of advice for players: Betting 100% of your deposit on your first wager if you have accepted a bonus, then lowering your bet size to the minimum is seen as bonus fraud at OddsMatrix managed sportsbooks. Players will have to mix it up or throw in the occasional multiple bet to throw the risk management off their trail, players in eastern European countries are advised to be especially cautious.
