HitItBet Sportsbook has not commented other than to claim that they are acting with the support of their gaming licensor, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. The nature of the violations were attributed to bonus abuse or account misconduct.
The about-face from HitItBet was unexpected as in July of this year the sportsbook agreed to abolish the controversial practice of sending player balances to charitable organizations.
However, HitItBet continued to enforce these confiscations and earned itself entry into the D+ range in the sportsbook ratings guide at SBR.
HitBet management has decided to stop commenting to SBR on the confiscations and faces additional downgrades.
