Colts vs. Cowboys Preview 

The Indianapolis Colts (4-7-1) and Dallas Cowboys (8-3) each sit second in their respective divisions. However, the Cowboys occupy the first wild card position in the NFC while the Colts remain 2.5 games back of a playoff spot in the AFC. This is the second to last primetime game of the season for Dallas, who will host Indianapolis for the first time since 2014.

Dallas Cowboys 

After going 5-2 to begin the season despite only being favored once, the Cowboys have been favored each time since, winning four of their last five games. They defeated the New York Giants for the second time on Thanksgiving but failed to cover the 10-points. In that game, CeeDee Lamb had six receptions for 106 yards and set up three of the team's four touchdowns. Dak Prescott was intercepted twice but completed 21 of 30 attempts for 261 yards and found tight end Dalton Schultz in the end zone twice within five minutes.

Indianapolis Colts 

The Colts come into Sunday’s matchup as one of the coldest teams in the NFL after failing to win as favorites for the fifth time this season. They have lost five of their last six games, including three consecutive home games, losing 24-17 to the Pittsburgh Steelers this past Monday.  Rookie Dallis Flowers opened the second half with a 90-yard kick return, and Jonathan Taylor scored his team-leading fourth touchdown of the season on the play, rushing 20 times for 86 yards.

Betting Outlook

The Cowboys ( -550) are 10.5-point favorites against the Colts (+410) with the Over/Under set at 43.5. Indianapolis shut out Dallas 23-0 in 2018 which was the most recent matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 pm ET Sunday.
