Chelsea vs. Leicester City
Antonio Conte’s Blues are coming off a routine 2-0 win over Hull City, a win that snaps a run of poor form in Premier League (two losses and a draw). Leicester City, meanwhile, are coming off a scoreless draw to Southampton, a positive enough result considering they were drummed 4-1 by Manchester United on match day six. Five points separate the Blues and Foxes in the table, with the latter seemingly more under pressure to collect maximum points as they are 12th in the table in what is essentially their title defence campaign. That’s not to say high expectations don’t ride on Chelsea. To all intents and purposes, this clash could go either way but the Foxes have struggled to win on the road this season.

AFC Bournemouth vs. Hull City
Hull City’s fairy tale start to the season was short-lived. After an opening two wins the Tigers came crashing back down to earth behind four losses and a draw. They are currently sat 15th in the table, largely down to their alarming lack of depth. Bournemouth are currently 13th in the table but they’ve had a tough start to the schedule with some heavyweights along the way. Auspiciously, they recently defied the soccer odds by beating Everton.

Arsenal vs. Swansea City
The Gunners opened their season with a 4-3 defeat to Liverpool, but have since then perked up behind a nine-game undefeated run of form across several competitions. In England’s top flight they are a perfect 5-0-0 in their last five, collecting maximum points to move into third place in the table just a point behind Tottenham and two points behind Manchester City. Maximum points could see Arsenal take top spot by the end of match day eight betting. Can they handle the pressure?

Manchester City vs. Everton
Manchester City suffered their first loss on match day 7 when Tottenham beat Pep Guardiola’s side 2-0 at White Hart Lane. Everton suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Bournemouth on match day six and then settled on a 1-1 draw to Crystal Palace at Goodison Park the ensuing weekend. It’s been a topsy-turvy few weeks for the Toffees, and a trip to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola will be keen to get back on the winning track poses quite the challenge. Still, the Toffees could give Man City a run for its money. As such, we’re leaning towards the double chance bet for Everton to win or draw at +175 soccer odds.

Stoke City vs. Sunderland
Neither Stoke City or Sunderland strike a convincing pose this season. Both are struggling on both sides of the ball which makes this a less than glamourous fixture to spot on your week 8 soccer picks. That said, there’s always value to be had. Consider both defenses are struggling to keep opponents off the scoresheet a bet on both teams to score might be the best bet.

West Bromwich vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur are coming off the big upset over Manchester City on match day 7, a result that is sure to send them on a wave of confidence into this upcoming clash. West Bromwich might be a middleweight side but they are a tough nut to crack. This should be a low-scoring affair.

Crystal Palace vs. West Ham United
Crystal Palace and West Ham United collide on match day 8. The former is enjoying a good start to the season while the latter is struggling something awful. The Hammers are 18th in the table and stuck in the relegation quagmire. The most concerning aspect about the Hammers is their lack of any defence. Opponents are scoring in abundance and Palace does have some striking potential. Best bet here must be the Over 2.5 goals for your soccer picks.
Soccer Picks: Over 2.5 goals -125 Bookmaker
Middlesbrough vs Watford
A middleweight clash between Middlesbrough and Watford is on the cards for match day 8. Watford you could say are punching above their weight class and buoyed recently by a 2-2 draw to Everton. Earlier they upset Manchester United 3-1 and came-from-behind to defeat West Ham 4-2. If Watford can maintain the momentum they could pull off the win on the away against a Borough side that is struggling with inconsistent form.
