BTCSportsBet clock still running, SBR Sportsbook iGaming News


BTCSportBet has refused comment since news of their Bitcoin theft broke. BTC Sports Bet owes a player 8 Bit coins, valued at 6,700 dollars at the time. These winnings were derived from four wagers. Although BTC SportsBet has claimed to the the largest and oldest bit coin gaming site of its kind, one bitcoin betting reviews site disagrees:

"They are definitely not the biggest, that is bitbook. I never affiliated with them as they did not look like a good option for players compared to the top places," –A bitcoin reviews site manager on condition of anonymity

Further SBR research revealed that the BTCSportsBet web server resolves to Germany, though their headquarters address has been kept hidden. The transaction wallet is proprietary software coded in PHP and JSON. The betting software used to display lines and accept wagers is unknown but presumed to also be proprietary.

SBR is in the process of creating a bitcoin section at SBR. BTCSportsBet has been added to the SBR Sportsbook Blacklist at the mark of F. Users who wish to discuss BTCSportsBet may do so at SBR Forum.

In other news, Alliance Sportsbook has closed. A partner behind the fallen shop wrote SBR saying that while the company was acquired just a year and a half ago, there are current negotations to sell the business to a larger gaming website. At the time of closure 80,000 dollars in player balances is on the books to more than 120 players. Players are advised to write to for payout requests.

SBR reported on January 1 2014 that an Alliance payout dispute remained outstanding. A player owed $6,000 dollars had been on a payment plan for longer than a year. His account was closed with his balance just over $15K in December 2012.
