BetMotion Complaint: Payout Request voided twice


A BetMotion Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) complaint has been received.

A player recently deposited with the online sportsbook in exchange for a 150% cash bonus.

He deposited $50 and began wagering toward his bonus rollover, completing $1,500 worth of play-through before submitting a payout request for $200 on September 9.

He received an email this past Friday requesting standard KYC (Know Your Customer) documents as well as an image of his face alongside his ID; an increasingly common request from online sportsbooks concerned that players other than the account-holder are placing bets. He also supplied a utility bill.

The following Monday he provided a copy of his credit card, but his payout request was voided. He provided additional documents – a driver's license, another utility bill, and a credit card statement showing his transaction to BetMotion, but his payout request was voided again.

The player claims that his documents are in order and has no idea why he has had such difficulty making a withdrawal from the online sportsbook.

SBR has followed up with BetMotion to inquire.
