A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C) player has reported that his access to the betting site has been suspended.
The player has claimed that the decision was made without explanation, and that he is unable to access his balance to confirm the exact amount of funds in limbo.
He has tried unsuccessfully to contact the sportsbook through its support channels.
BetAtHome Player: "I tried to contact them but they did not want to explain to me why does that happend. Even I tried to contact them by live chat, but no success."
BetAtHome users have complained in the past about poor communication following account related decisions. It is presently unknown if the player has yet satisfactorily passed the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process at the sportsbook.
SBR is investigating the complaint and will update as more information becomes available, and will seek BetAtHome's side to the story. Even when sportsbooks believe that players are guilty of fraud, barring extreme cases where deposits were insufficient, player's stand to receive their deposit back so the bookies cannot be seen as profiting from scammers.
