Robbie was responsible for taking the Apex domain off-line in 2005 when players were not paid their balances. Apex stiffed an undetermined number of players after closing shop. Apex then resurfaced as Bet33. Bet33’s rating was initiated at F, but later upgraded to D- after four years without a payout complaint.
Apex expressed the willingness to settle these old complaints, but claimed not to be in posession of a master list of balances owed.
On April 26th, SBR reported that an Apex Sportsbook player received payment after six years.
Apex players paid so far
Two players have confirmed being paid a total of $3,888. Both players were owed since 2005.
The unprecedented Apex Sportsbook cold cases are reminiscent of the Internet1x2 cases in the summer 2008. Internet1x2 paid $4,250 that it owed players from 2007. Internet1x2 eventually went off-line following raids by the Israeli police force.
SBR will update this report.
