Sports fans will have a unique viewing experience as four favorites to win the 2022 NFL MVP Award will face off in a 12-hole golf exhibition dubbed Capital One’s 'The Match' on June 1 at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV.

The charity event will be aired on TNT.

That’s right, veteran quarterbacks Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will tee it up against in-their-prime superstars Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen in a showdown billed as experience versus youth.

Instead of battling it out on the gridiron, the four signal callers’ precision and touch will be on full display at Wynn Golf Club, and fans can expect plenty of wit and banter between the four NFL MVP candidates.

But will they stick to golf during the event, or will their trash talk also drift into the upcoming NFL season?

While betting lines will probably become available for 'The Match', here are three current NFL betting markets that could cause a stir among the four competitors.

2022 NFL MVP Odds

As noted, the four quarterbacks facing off in The Match are also all favorites to win the MVP Award this season.

It does beg the question, though, wouldn’t fellow MVP candidates Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert be the true up-and-coming quarterbacks to represent the next generation against Brady and Rodgers?

2022 NFL Passing Leader Odds

It’s interesting to note that despite winning the MVP award four times, Rodgers has never led the NFL in passing yards in a single season.

Bettors considering backing Brady to achieve the feat for a second consecutive year, and for the fifth time in his decorated career, might want to hold off wagering until after the event to ensure he doesn’t throw out his back trying to keep within sight of Allen’s ball off the tee.

2022 Super Bowl LVII Odds

Obviously, Brady leads the way with seven Super Bowl rings, and Rodgers and Mahomes have a championship each.

Allen, on the other hand, hasn’t even reached the big game.

Furthermore, while every pundit with a camera and microphone in front of their face is happy to gush over the Bills, winning 'The Match' could prove to be Allen’s biggest victory of the year.
