DimeLineSports (SBR rating D) currently off-line; informs players it is changing platforms
Some licensees of scam operation, Futurebet, have been planning to leave the hosting and service center for over six months. Futurebet had confiscated all sportsbook profits it collected through processing player deposits and refused to pay winners. This left their turnkey sportsbooks holding the debt to players while receiving almost no revenue for recent months. Some books have paid players with other funds, some have closed without paying, and some have relocated to new service providers. The labels were also out the investment money they had spent on marketing to new players. Dimeline Sports is one of the brands that planned to migrate to this new label. SBR expects to speak to the new operation's management tomorrow for updates on when player accounts will be accessible and what other labels may be involved.

Bookmaker AscotSports Closing?

Isle of Man sportsbook, AscotSports (not rated), appears to be closing its doors. Earlier this month the sportsbook posted a message that the site was closed due to "system maintenance and enhancements" but has since added a message asking players to withdraw their funds by May 31st. The Malaysian Insider has reported that the book's owner, Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, has decided to close Ascot. Some Ascot players found the bookmaker after a bonus offer to Pointbet (SBR rating F) victims was publicized. Players are hopeful that Ascot will close in good standing unlike Pointbet but are nervous because recent withdrawal requests have not been addressed. Some players report delays of two weeks. One casino winner with a balance of 18625 euro says he has been locked out of his account since May 5th. Ascot management had contacted SBR in April about a beginning the rating evaluation process but has not yet responded to player inquiries from earlier this week. Users should request their funds immediately.

Bet911 (SBR rating D) player waiting for $1,750 since January
In January of 2008 Bet911 agreed to pay a player $1,750 that was confiscated in June of 2007. Both the player and SBR have contacted Bet911 management about the promised payout since. 911 initially blamed the delay on miscommunication regarding which payout method would be used. Recent inquiries have not been returned.

SBR report January 12, 2008: Bet911 management has agreed to pay a player $1,750 originally withheld because the account was one of two that wagered from the same location. The player argued that Bet911 was alerted ahead of time through email that his friend worked with him and was given a referral bonus. The $1,750 is the amount the player won and does not include the bonus which was cancelled. bet911 states they are under new management and is willing to address all complaints previously submitted to SBR.

BetCascade Scam continues over one year later

BetCascade (SBR rating F) Scam continues over one year later
The most recent scam report comes from a player who deposited in April and says he was promised a payout of over $4,000. Like other players who have been waiting since April of 2007, he was told his payout "would arrive soon." Cascade's excuse for taking deposits while unable to pay owed players from the previous year was "new investors" were responsible for new marketing and deposits and the old Cascade would save money from bookmaking services to pay on delinquent account balances. Cascade has paid just over $22,000 to SBR readers since it initially stopped processnig payout requests. The total the book has since taken in deposits is unknown.

BetRuss (SBR rating C-) accounts acquired by DPT Sports Group now redirects to LooseLines (SBR rating B-). Looselines is a part of the group of sites that include better known B rated books ABCislands and Jazz Sports. BetRuss management tells SBR that the decision  to move under Looselines was made because the BetRuss brand and its marketing team was "fighting an uphill battle" due to the stigma of the Absolute Poker controversy. BetRuss was founded by a former Absolute Poker manager. Looselines will be financially backed by DPT Sports but operate independently with its own lines and management. Looselines will move from the -108 lineset that was offered until today to BetRuss standard -110 vig. Bettors who were using Looselines prior to today will be able to use the -108 lineset by accessing their accounts through ABCislands. LooseLines, which will fo

The player made two winning 3-team parlays wagering $250 and $150 in free-play bonus money to win a total of $5,359. The last leg of both parlays were on the San Diego Padres +1.5 run line. The player also made a regular moneyline bet on the Padres as well as a wager on the opposing team using his deposited funds. Capilleira Group sportsbooks reach SCAM status

Capilleira Group sportsbooks reach SCAM status
Operation management initially told SBR that they were not responsible for its anonymous licensees. After the closure of the first no-pay book, DragonWager, Capilleira management told SBR it would require its licensees to keep deposits on hand so not to facilitate theft. Capilleira management also told SBR that it would stand for all player balances at two of its brands, WagerDaily and Ultimate-Odds. In March a WagerDaily player reported that he was owed $23,364 and the sportsbook was off-line. The player was able to log in to his account through Ultimate-Odds where his balance was still showing as available. Capilleira management initially told the player that it would pay him in installments and take responsibility for the "book owner's" debt.

Capilleira: I will pay you 10% of the balance starting April 1st and it will be sent by bank wire and this will be adhered to strictly.

Capilleira's owner failed to pay as promised and has avoided the client. WagerDaily reached a peak rating of C- before the first complaint from BetCSL was received. Capilleira-hosted books such as BetCSL, DragonWager and BigJuicyOdds have stiffed players thousands.

Enterbet management has not responded directly to SBR's inquiry regarding this player. 10Bet (SBR C) unwilling to compensate player for canceled wagers

10Bet (SBR C) unwilling to compensate player for canceled wagers
10Bet management states that because the player's wagers were canceled before the game, and he had time to rebet them, the decision is within the rights of the book's terms of service. 10Bet believes the player was working with other books to manipulate the market for the low volume soccer league. 10Bet concedes that the matter was not due to a "typing mistake." 10Bet has been lowered from B- to C after the second complaint of canceling pending wagers on odds that were not "obvious or gross errors." SBR suggested 10Bet pay the player for equity lost on the canceled wagers compared with less advantageous odds available when his wagers were canceled. 10Bet will remain under review. | Forum discussion (SBR rating D-) yet to correct April 13th misgraded wagers

LazerWager (SBR rating F) tells SBR that withdrawals have been processed

LazerWager (SBR rating F) tells SBR that withdrawals have been processed
LazerWager: Hi Bill, As of today (Wednesday, May 7), every depositing player that had pending payouts has had their check processed and sent out up to $3,000 per customer. In fact, most of the customers have already received their payouts. Also, every player that is owed more than $3,000 will continue to be paid without delay.
To answer your question, I haven’t heard of any customers that haven’t been taken care of yet. If there are specific players that you know of that did not receive a payout or tracking number, then I would be more than happy to help them personally.

Players that have not already officially requested a payout are advised to do so immediately. Players who already have a pending payout are asked to contact SBR a week from today to report withdrawal status. SBR will continue to update and monitor payment status.

The player has followed the line closely and believes the book cancels wagers when the line has moved in the player's favor. Competing bookmakers have stated that the price was in range of the betting market and that their line was similar at the time of the wager. 10Bet has not responded to the player's request to discuss the matter.

This is the second player to report being strung along in just over a month. The account holder who filed a complaint in April was paid in full shortly after SBR's report.

I've been very patient with Enterbet. But after reading your article dated 04-03-2008, about how you help a member get paid $2000, after waiting since March 2008, I'm asking if you will please help me get paid.

BetSBI (SBR rating D+) fails to pay scammed players after repeated promises
BetSBI (Sports Betting International) representative contacted multiple players setting them up with a line of wagering credit. Players won approximately $2,000 and filed a complaint with SBR when their contact was no longer answering his phone. The sportsbook's manager told SBR that the agent gave other players credit as well and those players lost over $15,000. Since those players refused to pay the agent he was unwilling to pay the unrelated winning account holders. The sportsbook's manager gave multiple dates for when it would step in and pay the players if the issue could not be resolved directly with the agent. After assuring both the players and SBR that the accounts would eventually be paid, SBI has gone back on its word. Players should be aware that BetSBI, which claims it no longer has post-up players, works with rogue agents and may be facilitating a scam.

Many players who filed a complaint reported payment at the start of April. BetChance failed to pay players at the close of 2007 and beginning of this year. The sportsbook was upgraded from F to D- in April to reflect the possibility of payment. Players have since wrote to SBR strongly objecting to the sportsbook having a rating above F-. BetChance payouts have not continued while its marketing campaign has. BetChance is telling players they are only able to withdraw the amount they deposited. The result is new players depositing in an effort to win money the book will not pay.
Player to BetChance: I am still waiting on a response to my email from 31st January 2008 (10 weeks ago !!!). Furthermore there are 5 open withdrawals over 5000 Euro in total.
