BetFred slow-pay complaint resolved


The BetFred (SBR rating B-) player from SBR's April 15th report has been paid.

WSEX October slow-pay update


A WSEX (SBR rating C-) player that requested $27,000 in October has received his second $3,000 payment today. The player is still waiting on seven additional checks. WSEX currently owes $150,400 to 25 players, with the oldest payment requested in October of 2009.

WagerHub confiscates $1900 in winnings


The WagerHub (SBR rating D-) player who was the subject of SBR's March 3rd sportsbook complaint had $1900 in winnings confiscated by WagerHub. Initially the player's account was frozen due to non-recreational play, then WagerHub came forward with allegations that his account was accessed from IP's outside of his geographic location. The player was able to reasonably prove that his account was never controlled by a third party.

The player deposited $500 on January 14th in exchange for a 44% cash bonus and 56% freeplay bonus. The total rollover for the 100% promotion was 10X. When his account was suspended with a balance of $8900, rollover was complete. WagerHub removed $1900 in funds stating that bonuses could not be redeemed by non-recreational players. WagerHub agreed only to pay $5600 to the player. $300 was used in withdrawal fees, and the remaining $1100 was played and lost pending his withdrawal. 04.16.2010 (SBR rating C-) has addressed the sportsbook complaint reported on April 12th. has stated that the player had mismatching names on the ID documents provided, and took more than a month to reply with the required information, causing the payment delay. has stated that the payment was processed as normal after the player's account was verified. 

In a second case, a player requested a wire transfer of $1127 on March 26th and has yet to receive his funds. has stated the processed wire which left their account is missing, and that it can take up to 4 weeks for the bank to return the money.

Oddscompany confiscates deposit+bonus due to shared IP


A player deposited €90 into his Oddscompany (unrated) account on March 24th. After increasing his balance to €286.10 he requested a withdrawal to Moneybookers on April 11th.  At this point Oddscompany removed all winnings from the player's account and charged an €88.20 processing fee due to his account using the same IP address as another player.


As mentioned before we found out that two accounts in our database have used exactly the same IP-adress. The fact that several other factors in these accounts are exactly the same, it was obvious for us that you made a double account. This is according to our GTC’s not allowed. XIII. Supplementary conditions for online bets (Internet bets)
5. Only one registration per user is allowed and the account-keeping and the placement of bets are only on one’s own account. In case of violation, all opened betting accounts of the user will be closed, all placed bets and all movements on the betting accounts will be cancelled. For the cancellation the bookmaker will charge the user € 100,00 for every affected betting account. The payout of possible winnings of the affected betting accounts is not possible.
Therefore we cancelled all your bets and winnings and charged a fee of 88,20 as you had not enough money on your account.

The player informed SBR that upon opening his account he supplied a copy of his passport and debit card to Oddscompany to verify his identity. As for being linked to another IP address, the player has stated that he has placed bets through a university computer. SBR is following up with Oddscompany.


Five new Casineto (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaints have been received. The payments were requested ranging from May of 2009 to April 1st of 2010. The players are owed a combined total of $4410. Casineto also owes two other players a $1900 from SBR slow-pay reports on March 25th and March 30th. Casineto's website promises players payouts within 48 hours.

Player comments:

I have requested 3000$ withdrawal by Moneybookers on 17/03/2010. They guarantee payouts within 48 hours, however they did not completed yet, and no response regarding of this payout.


BetFred slow-pay complaint


A slow-pay complaint has been received against BetFred (SBR rating B-). On March 18th a player requested a withdrawal of £1424. After sending multiple emails to BetFred inquiring on the status of his payout, the player was told on April 1st that his payment had been processed that evening. The player has yet to receive his funds. SBR is following up with BetFred.


An Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaint has been reported to SBR. A player requested $300 in February of 2010 via bank wire and has yet to receive his funds. SBR is investigating the Oddsmaker slow-pay complaint.

WSEX - payment delays update


Eight new WSEX (SBR rating C-) slow-pay complaints have been filed with SBR. These players are owed a combined $30,000. WSEX has paid out $19,000 recently to SBR readers, but new complaints continue to surface. WSEX currently owes $153,400 to 25 players, with the oldest payment request dating back to October. SBR readers are discussing the WSEX slow-payments at the SBR message board.

BetUS gives ultimatum to player in bonus dispute case


On February 24th SBR reported on a BetUS (SBR rating C) player that was limited to $100 bets while having a rollover of $45,542. SBR has asked BetUS to either increase the players limits on major sports, or allow the player to withdrawal and close the account. On October 1st, the player funded $8700 and received a $3480 freeplay. After clearing nearly $40,000 in rollover he was eventually limited due to what BetUS considered non-recreational play.

BetUS has given the player the following ultimatum:

1. You can stay and complete the initial rollover at a ($100) per wager. 2. You can forfeit the $4797 you have won from your free play and cash out the remaining balance. Please let us know which one is suitable for you;

BetWay account closure complaint


A BetWay (SBR rating D-) complaint has been received. A player with a balance of €1640.50 had his account closed following two other friends allegedly using his PC to place bets with BetWay. The bets in question were not correlated. The player has stated that his deposit has not been returned, and that no furher explanation was provided by BetWay. BetWay's last sportsbook complaint was reported five days ago.


A (SBR rating C-) payment complaint has been received. Two months ago a player requested a withdrawal of $1691 and was asked to provide credit card documentation before his payout could be processed. The player obliged to all requests. After confirming that the required information was submitted, allowed the player to make his withdrawal request, then canceled it after a week claiming that his account hasn't been verified. The player states that he spoke to ten different customer service representatives via the telephone, in addition to numerous live chat requests. SBR is investigating.


Seven new Stryyke (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaints have been reported. Stryyke owes the seven players a combined €3,519. This brings Stryyke's total debt to 23 players up to €18,752.95. The earliest payment was requested in May of 2009.

Casineto addresses slow-pay complaint


Casineto (SBR rating D-) has addressed the slow-pay complaint which was initially reported to SBR on March 30th. The player requested a withdrawal of $500 on September 23rd.


We will check the account of this user. Our Moneybookers account is being uploaded and if the money of this player was not sent then we will settle it within a few days. We apologize for the inconveniences!


Stryyke sportsbook slow-payments update


Stryyke (SBR rating D-) last communicated with SBR regarding the slow-pay complaints reported from players on March 23rd. 16 players are currently owed $15,233.95 with the earliest payment requested in August of 2009.

BetDOS players concede that funds are stolen


BetDOS (SBR rating F) is believed to be off-line for good after its hosting service was turned off and it failed to secure a new provider. BetDOS sportsbook had already owed 7 people $6,833 at the time it defaulted on its hosting account with International Data Solutions (IDS). BetDOS has been downgraded to F.

Potential Heroes buyer meeting with current ownership this morning


HeroesCasino (SBR rating D-) is still off-line. On March 30th SBR reported that Heroes was attempting to sell the brand. SBR has received confirmation that a potential Heroes buyer is meeting with current ownership this morning. SBR has told Heroes account holders that the odds of the sportsbook coming back online are low despite ongoing discussion. Heroes players that have filled out sportsbook complaint forms are currently owed $78,165.19.

EnterBet payment complaint


An EnterBet (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaint has been received. The EnterBet player requested payment of $830 three weeks ago, and has been no indication on the status of his payout request. EnterBet is the same sportsbook that stated it would intentionally slowpay correlated parlay players.
