1XBet Player reports €2,000 balance confiscation


A 1XBet Sportsbook player has filed a complaint.

The player reported that he held over €2,000 in his betting account but that his access has been revoked and that his funds will not be paid.

The player has claimed that he provided 1XBet with the documents requested including a copy of his passport, driver's license, ID card, as well as a photograph showing him holding his ID next to his face.

Online sportsbooks request players to provide these documents so that they can be analyzed for authenticity in line with the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.

Gaming license providers require betting sites to perform KYC on player accounts to curb identity fraud by exercising their due diligence and ensuring that players are fully verified.

A number of similar complaints have been submitted by 1XBet users recently. The betting site has agreed to discuss player complaints with Sportsbook Review.
