UPDATE 9/28 9:00AM CST: SBR spoke with DHoze management and reviewed evidence that confirmed the player defrauding the sportsbook. SBR considers this dispute satisfactorily closed.

A DHoze (unrated) player submits an account dispute. The player opened an account with DHoze on September 14th 2012. His initial deposit was for €40. The player managed to increase his balance to €975 before being asked to produce ID documents. The player's account was ultimately closed.


A BetClic (SBR rating D+) player submits an account complaint. The player states that he made an opening deposit of €25. He lost his first wager, making him eligible for a matching welcome bonus. The player won €81.25 using the bonus, before BetClic closed his account. The player claims this is his first registration with the sportsbook. SBR is following up.


In today's SBR Industry News video, SBR analysts Natalie Rydström and dispute manager Justin7 discuss the following: the recent upgrading of (now .ag) following the BetOnline Group crediting over $30,000 to players who were cheated by old ownership, a Globet Sportsbook payout complaint, and two Betfair payout issues.


Pinnacle Sportsbook (SBR rating A+) tells SBR that Canadian players are now able to deposit and withdraw from their accounts using online payment solution Ukash.  In addition to the new cashier option, Canadian players are able to take part in a promotion that allows a chance to win a weekend in Seattle to attend a UFC event.

A Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) betting dispute has been filed. A player opened an account with Globet one month ago, receiving a €100 sports bonus. The player states that he has been unable to attempt rollover, as Globet rejects all of his bets, even those under €5. The player claims his account with Globet was verified.

Today's video focuses on an update from California State Senator Roderick Wright on the senate bill he is attempting to pass; the pending closure of the IGT Poker Network, as well as European focused news.


A Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player submits a payout complaint. The player tells SBR that he requested a €2,339 payout over forty days ago and has yet to receive payment. The player has unsuccessfully attempted to receive an update on his withdrawal status from Globet support. SBR is following up on this sportsbook complaint.

WagerWeb (SBR rating D+) has been removed from the SBR blacklist. SBR provides background on recent WagerWeb history in this report, referencing both resolved and outstanding sportsbook disputes, as well as headway made with WagerWeb management in discussing claims.


A BetUS (SBR rating D+) player submits a sportsbook dispute. The player tells SBR that he has a balance of $3,305. The player has wagered with BetUS for two months. The player claims he was referred to BetUS by a friend that allegedly has a debt with the sportsbook. SBR is following up on this case.

A US (SBR rating D-) player reports that a Super Bowl wager was cancelled. The player wagered $200 on the Dallas Cowboys to win Super Bowl XLVII on 5:02PM ET, Thursday September 6th. The player has provided Sportsbook Review with a copy of his wagering ticket.

Update 3:20PM CST: SBR spoke with BetIslands management to confirm the technical outage reported by some users. Normal access is expected to return soon; players are able to wager via telephone as normal.  BetIslands (SBR rating B) users report difficulty logging into the website. SBR is following up with management for a technical update and advises those with questions to dial the sportsbook customer service directly at 1-800-998-8740. Alternatively, players may attempt to connect with BetIslands LiveChat.


A TitanBet (SBR rating C-) player submits a betting dispute. The player wagered £200 in bets on Australia to win a cricket match against Pakistan on Friday, September 7th. The match was delayed in part before an additional over was played to decide the match. During the added time, TitanBet voided the player's wagers.



UPDATE 9/11 4PM CST: GTBets claims the player's payment is en route
. A GTBets (SBR rating C+) player submits a payout complaint for $1,750. The player claims that he has been unable to request payment from GTBets and that customer service has been unable to assist him satisfactorily. The player notes that he has in the past received payments from the sportsbook.


SBR analyst Natalie Rydstrom provides an iGaming News update for September 7th, 2012. In today's video, two companies pending online poker licenses in Nevada are discussed, as well as news from UK operator Betfair, a recent Alderney Gambling Control license, and lastly an acquisition by BetVictor.


The Legends (SBR rating A+) website will be unavailable from 1AM to 6AM ET. Legends management tells SBR that routine server maintenance must be done during this time-frame. Legends apologizes for any inconvenience the website outage causes, and will be available to field player inquiries as normal afterwards.


A BetAtHome (SBR rating C-) player submits an account dispute. The player opened an account after receiving a bonus offer of 50% up to €200. The player deposited €400 and accepted the €200 bonus. The player claims that BetAtHome confiscated the balance on the suspicions of fraud, and has failed to provide additional support.

In today's show, a sportsbook scam alert issued on WagerMadness of the BetCascade (SBR rating F) platform is discussed, as well as five outstanding Coral Sportsbook (SBR rating B+) confiscations, and lastly an update from Justin7's complaint bag.


TopBet Sportsbook has received a ratings upgrade to C-. SBR reported in January of 2012 that new management acquired the TopBet domain, while the betting platform is still powered by FutureBet. TopBet management made the distinction that unlike other operators that ended up stiffing players under the FutureBet domain, it does its own processing.


Coral Sportsbook (SBR rating B+) has confiscated five player balances. Coral, previously rated A- by SBR, is unwilling to discuss the claims due to their license with the UK Gambling Commission. However, Coral has not communicated any reason to the players themselves explaining the confiscations.
