SBR reported on June 15 that since clearing their previous $85,000 in delinquent payouts (SBR rating D-) accumulated another $31,040 in slow-pay complaints. SBR communicated with management regarding the status of these player withdrawals and has been notified that all payments have now been processed.

Location technology provider GeoComply USA Incorporated has received a class II gaming license in Nevada. This comes after two successful hearings earlier in the month with the Nevada Gaming Control Board and the Nevada Gaming commission. The technology supplied by the company will allow licensed operators to verify online bettors' presence in Nevada.

PokerStars CEO settles with US DOJ

PokerStars CEO Mark Scheinberg has settled his case with the United States Department of Justice, agreeing to forfeit $50 million to finally resolve the long-standing case with the Southern District of New York. Scheinberg admits no wrongdoing or culpability as terms of the deal and is free to return to the helm of PokerStars.


A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has submitted an account dispute. The player deposited €408 through bank card on April 4. A €200 bonus was accepted. The user proceeded to complete wagering requirements before his account was blocked with a €1,550 balance. BetAtHome allegedly has not updated the player.


A second Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) payout complaint has been filed. A user has told SBR that he requested payment of €379.94 on 11 May 2013. The player initially deposited €100 through Skrill (Moneybookers). Globet has not processed the withdrawal or responded to the player's emails. SBR is following up on the complaint.

Sportingbet (SBR rating D+) has reversed their position from a bonus cold case originally reported by SBR on 9 January 2013. The dispute involved a player registering for a Sportingbet promotion that promised a €100 free bet for new signups which placed at least ten €10 bets at the close of 2012.

He received a 50% bonus and began wagering, eventually increasing his balance to £817. Bulldog777 allegedly confiscated his balance without word more than two weeks ago. Bulldog777 has since closed their sportsbook while keeping the casino open.

UPDATE: New facts have been provided in this dispute which suggest the sportsbook prorated the balance appropriately. (SBR rating D+) has confiscated $1,326 from a winning player. The player created his account January 30th, depositing $1,300 for a $1,000 cash bonus with a 30X rollover requirement. VIP Sports refunded the player's deposit and paid just 25% of his winnings after closing his account for "non-recreational play".
