HitItBet Sportsbook (SBR rating C+) is confiscating funds from players who are believed to have violated house rules. These funds are allegedly being donated to charity, apparently with the rubberstamping of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Violations include alleged bonus misuse or account misconduct.


A Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) player reports being slow-paid. The player deposited $300 on June 2 and since late summer has been attempting to take out $6,500. The bettor cashed in on the US Open Golf tournament as well as the PGA Championship. VIPSports has not paid the player or responded to his requests for information.


As reported by SBR earlier this year, BetRevolution Sportsbook confiscated over $26,00 from three sports bettors. BetRevolution has been unwilling to revisit the confiscation by sticking to their argument that the players were guilty of "syndicate betting". BetRevolution also is unwilling to discuss reports of slow-payment, and is on the SBR blacklist.

A player requested €2000 and was told that while his payout request was received, GoalWin could offer no time-line on when it would be fulfilled. The standard message is disguised as a personally written explanation but is in fact recycled to multiple users whenever a payout request is made.

A BetAtHome Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has filed a complaint. The player deposited €400 through Moneybookers when creating his account and ran his balance up to more than €1,500. BetAtHome Sportsbook refunded his initial deposit but zeroed the rest of his balance. He was accused of multi-accounting — a charge he denies.

This NFL Sunday marks the final week that players can join SBR's flagship BTP Handicapping Contest and accumulate enough plays to be eligible for the whopping $15,000 in cash prizes at the end of week 15. Players must submit five picks per week and fair better than professional handicapper "The Prick". This is the ninth edition of the contest.

09.28.2013 (SBR rating D-) is currently taking six to eight weeks to process payments. A player has written SBR who was seemingly unaware of the lengthy time-frame. SBR has reported recently that cleared its backlog of payouts, but has not addressed when or if payout conditions would improve for players.

On August 6, SBR reported that a Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) player claimed to be owed £800 since June 21. The player initiated his payout request via popular online payment processor Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers. Globet allegedly failed to provide the player with any information on why his payout was delayed, prompting him to file a sportsbook complaint through SBR.
