Betsafe Sportsbook management is now looking into the alleged €22,500 confiscation originally reported by SBR October 26. In that dispute, a player reported that he made two successful withdrawals before his balance was erased. The player claimed that all of his documents were on file with Betsafe and verified, and that no explanation was given by the sportsbook.


A Cashpoint Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has submitted a sportsbook complaint. On November 1, the player made deposits totaling €900 via popular eWallet service Skrill, formerly known as Moneybookers. After accumulating a balance of €2,870, Cashpoint reportedly blocked the account and requested documents, which is where the situation took a turn for the worse.


Earlier this year, BetRevolution Sportsbook confiscated nearly $27,000 from three winning sports bettors. BetRevolution has been unwilling to revisit the confiscation by arguing that these players violated their house rules on "syndicate betting". BetRevolution has since cut all communication with SBR on player disputes, and has landed itself on the SBR blacklist.


Ten new Canbet Sportsbook players have filed SBR complaints. Approximately 40 slow-pay complaints have been submitted by users, although most claims stem back a few weeks. Canbet users are not accustomed to the extended delays. Canbet management recently provided a statement to SBR blaming technical issues for the financial hiccups.

SBR has received over two dozen reports from players owed as far back as September 2013. The combined amount owed to players currently sits at over $28,000. Five players have reported payment from Canbet since news of the slow-pays broke.

Netbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) has provided comment on a player dispute. A player reported that he has been unable to withdraw a sum of approximately €800 for three months. He claimed to have arrived at a dead end with the sportsbook customer service and reached out to SBR for help. Netbet has commented on the case.


Five Canbet (SBR rating C-) players have reported receiving payment. SBR has reported recently that over a dozen Canbet Sportsbook users have filed sportsbook complaints. The five players collectively received over €8000. Canbet is still telling players who have not been paid in their advertised time-frame that they are experiencing "technical issues".


A Betsafe Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has claimed that €22,500 were confiscated from his account. The player reportedly received two successful withdrawals before the balance adjustment. He has claimed that all of his documents are on file with Betsafe and that no explanation was given for what he has done wrong. SBR is following up on this complaint.


A (SBR rating D-) player has written in with a general payout complaint. The player discovered that is currently advertising a six to eight week time-frame to receive payouts via certain methods. He requested to be paid just under $7,000 and expected that the payout would be processed in a standard window.


In today's SBR iGaming News video report, SBR provides an update on one Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player's report of payment, as well as the currently outstanding payout disputes on file. Canbet has not provided comment to SBR regarding their current delays. Players are asked to file a complaints to air their grievances against Canbet Sportsbook.

GoalWin Sportsbook player paid


Goalwin Sportsbook (unrated) have confirmed to SBR that a player who reported being owed £150 for over two weeks via Skrill will be paid. The player was reportedly undergoing checks as it was the first payout request for his account. Goalwin users have reported of occasionally spotty payout windows from the online sportsbook. Players with feedback are encouraged to write to SBR.


HitItBet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) is confiscating funds from bettors accused of violating house rules and allegedly donating their entire balances to charity. HitItBet claims to have the support of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC). SBR has followed up with the gaming commission for comment. SBR originally reported on the bizarre HitItBet rule October 7.

Canbet player reports payment of €4800


A Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) player has reported receiving payment of €4800. The player requested payment on October 4. SBR reported in the last week that more than ten Canbet Sportsbook payout complaints were submitted. Canbet gave each player a generic copy/paste claiming technical issues have caused all payouts to be delayed. | Read more


The BTG Global NV family of sportsbooks remain on the SBR blacklist for the continued slow payment of their few clients. One Dimeline Sportsbook player has waited for his $2,400 since February 1. Dimeline closed the player's account after becoming enraged by his negative feedback on the brand on the SBR message board.

A Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D) player has filed a payout complaint. The player tells SBR that he requested a €520 payout on September 30 and has yet to be paid. The player has received only generic updates from the Globet finance department and has not been told when he will receive payment. SBR downgraded Globet Sportsbook to D last week.


Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) is reportedly telling players that technical difficulties have resulted in a backlog of payouts. More than ten players have filed complaints with SBR indicating that payout requests dating back to September 24 have not been completed. SBR has followed up with Canbet Sportsbook for comment.


The sportsbook dispute reported by SBR on BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) has now been resolved. SBR reported yesterday that a player wrote in with a cold case; he originally had funds confiscated during the period of time BetWay enforced a controversial "30% rule". The rule was designed to forfeit winnings from players whose wagering activity exceeded 30% of their bonus.
