A Globet Sportsbook (SBR rating D) player has received a partial payout of €200. The player wrote SBR for assistance 30 December 2013, reporting difficulty receiving funds. SBR followed up with Globet Sportsbook management who finally addressed the claim 22 January 2014, indicating that the player received the partial payout. SBR has confirmed this with the player.


More than four dozen Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating D-) players have reported being owed in excess of $250,000. Canbet Sportsbook has released statements pinning the blame on technical issues within their system and ceased accepting deposits or wagers since 31 December 2013. The UK Gambling Commission acknowledged the situation but few updates have been given to players.


SBR has spoken with 10Bet Sportsbook (SBR rating B-) regarding two player disputes. The first involved a player whose account had to fully pass their KYC process. The player had grown impatient while this process ran its course and believed his winnings were in limbo. SBR has confirmed that the player has been paid in full. The second involved a user who breached terms of service.

BTCSportsBet, the Bitcoin sportsbook which was the subject of SBR's advisory video report Friday, has declined comment to SBR since the report's publication. BTCSportsBet refused to pay 8 BTC (valued at $6,700 at the time) in winnings from four wagers. The wagers were placed at valid market odds and were not entered late.


Alliance Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) has closed. One of the two partners behind Alliance wrote SBR claiming that while the company was acquired just a year and a half ago, there are current negotiations to sell the business to a larger gaming shop. At the time of closure, $80,000 in player balances is on the books to about 125 players.


A BetWay Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) has reported receiving €1,390. These funds were initially confiscated all the way back in 2012 when the sportsbook was enforcing a controversial bonus rule that led to multiple SBR warnings and video advisory reports. BetWay Sportsbook agreed to revamp their bonus rules to SBR and revisit old sportsbook complaints.


SBR reported in Novemer that a JazzSports (SBR rating C) player was paid in full after receiving the last of a payment plan that saw him receive more than $100,000. SBR noted at the time that two other large winners had similarly reported being on schedules to receive their funds. SBR has confirmed that Jazz has paid over $300K to these winning players and cleared up all payout complaints.

A MarathonBet (SBR rating B) player has reported that his €10,000 balance was confiscated and his account closed. The player has only shared that he registered on November 3, deposited €2100, and proceeded to win €10,000 betting a Spain Primera League soccer match on his first bet transaction with the sportsbook.


Scam sportsbook Dimeline Sports (SBR rating D-) is offering users a 100% bonus up to $500 on tonight's college football BCS National Championship game. The sportsbook bonus is purportedly open to all users. Dimeline Sportsbook has stopped paying players and has discontinued all communication with SBR. Dimeline is attempting to dangle a carrot to lure in unsuspecting players.

Canbet Sportsbook (SBR rating D+) has ceased accepting bets and deposits as of 31 December 2013. Canbet updated its website homepage this morning with the news. This comes nearly three weeks after Canbet management claimed to SBR that all players with outstanding payouts would receive their funds in a week.
