New York Supreme Court Judge Manuel Mendez has reserved judgment after two hours of testimony was heard earlier today in the fantasy sports betting vs. State of NY case. NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has declared daily fantasy sports betting as no different than traditional gambling and ruled that FanDuel and DraftKings are in violation of state law.

Betting exchange Betfair (SBR rating A-) has increased the size of its online sportsbook two-fold in the past six months as it prepares for a merger with Irish bookmaker PaddyPower (SBR rating B+). Betfair reported a 93% rise in sportsbook volumes to £800 million ($1.2 billion) in the six months to October 31, 2015, driving 15% revenue growth for the firm.

The player registered for LSbet on October 19 and deposited €43, later increasing his balance to €576.95. Bonus play-through terms were met successfully and the player proceeded to request a first-time withdrawal. This is where the trouble started.
