Betfair Live video is pretty good quality, you can full screen it and it looks decent.

Nadal is pretty tired right now. Djoker is highly motivated and won the last grand slam played on a hard court. +190 is showing Nadal a LOT of respect. I love Nadal but I'm not certain he's quite the monster on hard court. This match could go either way but Djoker is probably the right side at this price.

It's all about Djokovic - if he has his serve and groundshot accuracy Nadal simply can't win on this speed of court. That's not controversial I think, but the question abouit Djokovic has been his error rate in recent months. Have to wonder if he can keep this up.

Its weird watching it at Bet365
The picture itself is almost HD quality, but choppy during rallies. Kind of a weird combination.

Nadal did pretty well at Wimbledon which is a lot faster than any hard court.

Its not the speed, its the way the ball bounces. For whatever reason Nadal is not as comfortable with the way the ball bounces on hard courts.

Nadal is now #1 in world rankings, but there is no doubt his girlfriend was #1 in hotness long before that. Federer's ~ #250.

Only happens rarely, but Nadal is prone to getting hammered every so often on hard courts. He'll play way too many matches in a short period, then come up against a flat power hitter on form and just not quite have the energy. For example, Youzhny beat him 6-0 6-1 in Chennai.

Way too early to give up faith. If this was Nadal up 5-0 it'd be game over because of Djokovics mentality, however Nadal won't let the 1st set bother his confidence.

Not any more, they changed it in 2001 (different grass among other things) . Wimbledon bounces higher than the faster Decoflex courts now, and a lot higher than fast greenset.

Queens, Hertegonbosch (spelling error I'm sure) and Nottingham are more comparable to the old stereotype of grass.

This is why I keep saying Djokovic should be the favorite for the US Open. Simply the best hardcourt player in the world. You will never see him at anywhere near +180 again the rest of the year.

Yeah, never been a question of his ability though, just if he would collapse mentally through the bigger points, he played so well in opening set he avoided having to endure those pressure moments. And in the 2nd set at crunch time he matched Nadal tit for tat and then some, a well deserved win and I'm glad for him that he closed out against the current best tennis player in the world.

Hope so - I went over the top on him to do just that (bout $900 at +400), on seeing Federer bomb out of Toronto. Was beginning to regret it after Djokovic's recent performances.

Still a bit worried about his error rate, although with his serve seemingly back the last couple of matches there's nobody outside Murray/Federer/Nadal can really touch him. Maybe Gasquet in best of three, but not in five. Nalbandian/Ferrer/Davydenko are way off form and he's too good for the rest.

Yes they slowed the grass at Wimbledon down but it is still faster than any hard court unless you can show me a source that says otherwise.

Different shots play a factor too. A slice or flat shot at Wimbledon is going to be much faster and lower than the same type of shot on DecoTurf. However a topspin on DecoTurf is going to bounce harder and quicker off the surface, but still much higher than on grass. So that shot is kind of up in the air I guess. I've only played grass twice and I've played all kinds of hard courts and all kinds of clay courts. Grass is just a different game. The ball stays so low. Wimbledon is higher than other grass courts but still lower than hard courts.

"Tennis Hard court is preferred by the hard hitting players. These courts are made from cement or asphalt. This particular type of court is used for medium to fast surface. This type of Tennis court specification is slower than grass court and faster than clay court but their rate of speed differs from court to court. They have advantage of all playing style. The player of any style can easily settle on this type of court. Australian Open is played on a synthetic hardcourt Plexicushion, having previously used Rebound Ace while the US Open is played on DecoTurf, an acrylic hard court."
