    Tennis - IN GAME THREAD - June 08, 2010

Youzhny goes down to Kiefer... I avoided that one... I believed Youzhny would be a little tired after Roland Garros.

I need Rochus to pull this out on one parlay. Down 3-2 in 3rd.

i just cant trust stepanek coming back, i heard he retired last week also because of some stomach problem. with a fresh kohlschreiber at home (saw him play some fine doubles yesterday), i just cant get myself to back stepanek here after such a long time off

My book has Kohlschrieber playing Stepanek... but the scoreboards I'm seeing show Kohlschrieber playing Bemelmans...?

Anyone know what's going on with that???

I even went to the tournys site and they show Bemelmans also.

beefcake... I'm a casual tennis fans... but I usually see them get a bye if that happens, correct? I can't remember ever seeing a replacement player being inserted. Guess I don't watch or follow as much as I thought.

yea they always put a replacement player in, most recent example would be monfils vs kindlmann, he was scheduled to play florian mayer but he pulled out last minute. it's called a lucky loser, top loser in qualies gets the spot - bemelmans lost to bopanna last round of qualies

Thanks JNic... I don't remember that ever happening to a match I've wagered on before. I learned something new today. Thanks.

Wonder what the record is of all lucky losers in first round matches only.....AKA..other player prepares for the player that pulled out and last minute has to scramble to come up with a gameplan...

i think Dudi Sela @ 1,50 is very good choice. Hes good and Muller is outside top 200. Beside that Sela won last meeting with 6-4 6-2 30 days ago. What you think guys ?

I also have Sela in Parlay action. I made a list in my other thread.

Looks like many of the matches will not get in today... hope the sun is shining tomorrow.

Sela wins after 2 days of play with 7-5 6-2. Seems a little bit hard, but he is the better player here. Especially after score was 1-2 in 2nd set, so he won 5 straight games to finish it 6-2. So odds of 1,5 were just a big present. I would say odds should have been around 1,20 not more. Thanks to all bookies

sorry for being late, but i had small bet on Sela today aswell and im very impressed what he did. but its always(or very often) like that before grand slam tournaments - there are a lot surprises. Sela - Rodyck 6-4 7-6.
