He said the rules for the players are impossible to follow. They have to sleep at airport hotels and don't have their supporting crew with them like trainers. He thinks not many players will accept to play under these terms.

The best players can do to keep match fit is to play in the exhibition tournaments organised locally and pretty much just wait and see.
Even guys like Woodbridge who wanted the players to accept that things will be different admitted things would have to be better in the US before even talking about staging a tournament. But things could be better as it gets hotter over there?

Well they were right about the US Open, can’t see it happening.
The ATP needs a bit more forward thinking planning for 2021...perhaps start the season in Aus/Nz a bit earlier while it’s still summer where covid isn’t as bad and to account for self isolating after travel.
They’ve been a bit slow with their decisions and announcing a few tour dates was a bit of a laugh considering

I know the players were dumb to play and not social distance. However, Kyrgios is the last person that should be projecting. Isn't this the player that tries to fight fans and has admitted to throwing games in the past?
Will be interesting to see how the MLS soccer goes having started up this week and how they handle things, and whether other US sports that return or resume will use that as a reference for their own protocols. I know they've talked to other codes in other countries though.
