Verdasco last tour. I'll put my money on him anytime almost 3-1 odds on Zverev the chokester. If he doesn't get his 1st serves in, Verdasco takes it.

Hell, people think he will be tired after last week but he easily could have taken down Thiem and shows his H2H stats are super reliable to base play on them, but we have less and irrelevant court surface data here. Yes his shot style plays perfectly vs Thiem, so difference circumstance.

Verdasco owns a 2-1 H2H v Zverev but they haven't played but once on hard. Most recent matchup was 2017 RG where verdasco at 33 yrs old played a much lesser Zverev if we can say it like that. He won easily in 4 sets. Ironically, the week before Zverev took him in straights at ATP Madrid on clay. Outlier is 2015 Verdasco 3 set win in 2014 (only hard court in Metz France 6-7, 6-3, 6-3.

My only concern on if you tail - Zverev is outstanding on hard courts, and indoors. Verdasco historically clay courter no doubt but always wants to win. He has the fight. Hes about 55% win pct on the hard.

Second thing. Zverev absolutely crushes lefties. Verdasco is a lefty. So beware, Zverev always has and always will want to face a lefty.

+274 all day here. 2k to win 5480 on a GOAT's last tour. Probably not, he's still doing well give it another shot.
