Del Potro +124 and +450 to win it all

I like Del Potro to beat Nadal and I think there is value on him to win the tournament. He's been great in the heat going back to the Olympics in Rio and he's healthy, he should matchup well with Nadal who won't be able to rely on his serve. Nadal hasn't been great the last several rounds and used a lot of energy against Thiem. Del Potro plays his best at this tournament.

I have Del Potro to win the tournament at +1200 but I'm going to hedge out. Nadal has 3 days of rest. I don't bet against Nadal with 3 days of rest.

Del Potro has the same time to rest, I don't see that as an issue

I like Osaka at +2 and Serena at -5 tomorrow, 1-1 on picks today to go to 1-4 on posted picks in the tournament

I’m liking Osaka over keys. Keys goes for every shot and isn’t patient enough. Serena -1.5 sets maybe?
If nadal and Delpo go the distance, any chance joker is a good play to win it all?

Djoker has had a dream draw until the finals which could prove decisive; like in Wimbledon -- Unless Nadal is able to win against Del Potro in 4 or straight sets... Can anyone stop Serena?!

heat won't be an issue tomorrow, finally cooling down in NYC it'll be 80 degrees max.

Line is interesting, expected Nadal to be a bit higher. Nadal has had 2 full days off after that crazy match with Thiem, he's always fit. Potro definitely dangerous, definitely could win. Tough one

Yeah, rain on the East coast has cooled the weather, I still like Del Potro, far better serve and he loves playing on the hard court and in New York, Nadal hasn't been in great form this tournament.

Then check the Djokovic thread where everyone bashes him for a year straight.

In the end, I always foresee the future.

    Nadal wins this tournament.

Nadal won't win this tournament, even if he beats Del Potro, Djokavic is the better player, Nadal and Djokavi are both defensive players, Djokavic is better. Nadal is really a clay court specialist at this point in his career. He took advantage of a weak mens field over the past year with Djokavic coming back from shoulder surgery and Murray out.

Nadal isn't a clay court specialist. That's why he won the US Open last year. Djokovic is still struggling with his serve and doesn't have the same pop on it. He played amazing at Wimbledon but I want to see him do it again. Were you one of the ones counting Djoker out in that thread? I can easily go back and look.

End of the day, I see the big picture, while 95% of SBR looks at things in a fukkin box.

Btw, Djokovic and Nadal are two of the greatest offensive players in the history of tennis. Just because they are also the 2 greatest defensive players doesn't mean shit. Nadal's offense is better than Del Potro's, better than anyone on tour save for Federer...

Men's field weak? You just are under the impression their weak because they can't beat the big 3. Cilic will dicksmack Serena Williams 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.

Lol, the mens field was absolute garbage when Nadal won the US Open last year, and Nadal is not a great offensive player at all, he's horrible at the net, which is why he's never been great on grass. Djokovic is good but not great offensively.

Nadal's serve is nothing special either, which I think will be the difference against Del Potro, who beat Nadal in Rio the last time the 2 met.

Nadal is one of the best in the world at the net. He rarely makes mistakes. Bro, do you even watch tennis? Nadal is literally one of the most proficient in the world at the net when he comes there. Also, to say a 2 time wimbledon champion and a guy who's gone to finals and to semis at wimbledon "isn't great on grass" is an absolute joke.

Is Del Potro great on Hard Courts? Because he only has 1 hard court title, and 1 title total, last I checked....

Djokovic is not great offensively? Who is better in the history of tennis besides Federer and Nadal and arguably Samprus, which he isn't, because he has no where near the variety of Djokovic from the baseline, not even close. I watched all these guys. I grew up on them.

You saying Nadal "is not a great offensive player at all" shows you don't know much about tennis.

Nadal's forehand is quite possible the best weapon in tennis history....

You can ask Shari or anyone that knows a lick about tennis.

You have no clue what you're saying.

Nadal literally dictates the majority of the points he wins with his lethal forehand. His placement and spin is absurd. Just because he's not hitting the ball flat and hard every play like Del Potro? The man shifts guys around on the court liek they are fukkin puppets dude. Is that through defense?

    Lol. Thanks for the laugh.

No Value on a player to win a major when he only won 1 his whole career

Thiem played better than anyone 5 sets this entire tourney and still could not beat him

I agree it was great match, and probably Nadal wins this one but Delpo will have his chance..good enough serve and forehand.. Nadal serve is not that great and can put him in trouble in couple games.. Djoker still struggling somewhat but I will always take him..

I win again. Broke you down. Nadal is not great on hard court, yet has more hardcout major titles than Del Potro, who according to you, is great on hard court? Yup, makes perfect sense.

You're a clown. Of Course Nadal has more hard court titles, he's older and Del Potro has missed many tournaments because of injuries, we're talking about current form.

Del Potro is about to be 30, so Nadal is 2 years older. Nadal has suffered through many injuries in his prime years as well.

Btw, you already responded with "you're a clown."

Don't have any more material than that?

I'm talking about current form too. Nadal is a better hardcourt player than Del Potro. Right now. In the past. However you want to look at it. Plain and simple, Nadal is better on this surface.

Del Potro won the last hard match, not that I care, aren't you still talking about how Belichick the genius will shut Foles down.

you gotta watch the first game and see if nadal is doing a full pick or half pick of the ass. This determines winner easily.

I am on Del Potro +135 over Nadal today, I have no interest in futures at this point.

I am also contemplating Nishikori +440 but have not acted on it yet. I very well could if line goes higher.
