usually the favorites are older veterans. The older they are the better chance the heat and humidity will become a factor

Obviously doesn’t. However if you see the weather having an obvious effect you hve a lot more time to get a good price with a favorite losing therefore you have more time to watch and see weather affects and still lay your bet . I the weather affects the dog it’s of no use
