Although Vesnina odds crashed quite a bit. But from watching Peng in her last two matches, thats deserved. She is only a shadow of her old self. can't move very well (almost like she's dragging some kind of lower body injury) and makes to many errors.
When compared to the opener, yes, it was not a huge move. But I was under impression that it opened much closer to evens, because I saw it yesterday at -115 or something. My bad.
I'll do most of the work in-play today. For now I like only Barthel-Kozlova over. Both play well, both can play behind their serve... I expect a close one. Osaka looks tempting as well, but has some lower back issues, so skipping that one for now.
Yup, it was evident in Doha already that she is not feeling it at the moment. And she has the game to thrive in conditions like these, but just not playing good enough at the moment, I guess.
Osaka's got the best hair in WTA. I bet on her today. Not bc of the hair, but mainly betting against Kiki. Kiki recently lost about 17 matches in a row, so I was going martingale against her for 3 rounds.
Sabine had a strong tournament in Taipei, but she's waking on really thin ice with her game. It's boom or bust basicaly and with that being said, maybe she is slightly overpriced in this spot. She needs a weaker serve of her opponent so she can get some easy points of of her huge return. Not sure if Parmentier is going to give her that chance? Anyway, I'm waiting for live here. With Lisicki there are often huge swings in momentum during the match and very good in-play value opportunities
Well I have 2 games on this ticket, hoping for Van Uytvanck to win 2-0 to finish it. I don't even know what other games are being played today. What do you think?
