Sharapova and Pavlyuchenkova lost on purpose.

NO. They played final in Beijing and Hokong and flew in the day of the match to moscow...time zone, travel, long previous week (both of them won the finals), so with fatigue both losing was expected. good value fading them, i faded them.

    i am also fading gavrilova.

Gavrilova will most likely lose as well she played finals against Pavly in china...they came to moscow on the same flight.

What I don’t get is how a player can win the first set 6-0 or 6-1 and then totally bomb the second and third....

sometimes when someone wins a set 6-0, 6-1 is not necessarily the winning player putting on a total domination....its more like the opponent having a bad start falling behind by 2 breaks then tanking the set instead of wasting energy so that they can give it all for the next 2 sets.

I've noticed this more about the women than the men. Tennis is a mental sport and the women are more easily swayed by emotion. It doesn't take much to get them going the other way. I tend to not bet women in Live betting for this reason.

ya went with her. didn't expect to get her as a such a big dog. i thought she might be favored...she is a promising youngster and gavrilova is gassed. she should have lost yesterday but the lesser pliskova only knows how to smack the ball in terms of tennis.

lapko is cruising so far, hopefully she doesn't have a mental breakdown.

after the us open finishes and the asian tour starts, you can make big money picking your spot, especially fading the finalists of a tournament in the first matches of the follow up tournament (if it starts right after the finals). the travel time and the time zone and fatigue plays big roll after near the year end tournaments, especially in wta.

Exactly. You can get rich by blindly betting the opposite of what's happening.

The problem is that it's hard to know (at least for me) when they will go the other way.

That was casually said, but overall if you bet against early breaks youll be ahead. All of them get nervy in the match a certain degree. In men's tennis breaking serve is the important thing, in women's holding serve. There are going to be multiple breaks in every women's tennis match. I dont know, I just have seen all of these chicks play so many matches depends on who they are playing and form, Im always watching so have a good idea of the form, but coming into the match sometimes they are physically and mentally tired and just want a break even if they have been playing well like Rybarikova, who just retired after the first set, I bet on Cornet. Im getting all these pushes today because of chicks retiring. Petokovic getting her blood pressure checked might retire, well I bet on Bertens, go figure. Bertens is such a mental flake though she just may lose this match, wouldnt be surprised.

One of many examples of things falling apart. Puig won the first set, 6-0, was up 3-0 in the 2nd set, thats when I put 5 bucks on Broady to win the 2nd set, she won 7-5.
