Do you think he'll win a set? I'm thinking of laying the juice (-166) on Berdych +2.5. Same question for Raonic...

I'm passing this game, though if I had to bet, I would pick Berdych as well.

I think Berdych will be a popular pick given his win over Thiem and past success at Wimbledown - my money will be on Djokovic at -5 - still at books I use -115.

Berdych is an aggressive player - he's a serve volley player who plays much better on the hard court and grass than clay where being defensive works - Djokovic is at his best as a defender returning serves and playing baseline rallies - if Djokvoic can handle Berdych's serve which as probably the best defensive player other than Nadal i think is likely berdych is not a great returner or defensive player. This match strikes me as a very good matchup for Djokovic, who sometimes plays to the level of competition and seems to play his best in big matches - he has a great record in finals matches. Djokovic should have covered the spread against Mannarino but he had a lapse of attention in the second set when he was up 4-1 - he dominated the match and is playing great and in addition to the shorter rest period not being an issue I think he will be in better form early from playing yesterday.

He won over 70% of his first serve points against Mannarino and the line is up to 5.5 at many books - he did receive treatment on his shoulder in the 3rd set but did not lose a game serving in that set.

I've only had one retirement go my way and save me money. All others I would've won or was winning.

Bet enough of the ATP and it will even out. The better players are more likely to pull the rip cord in the smaller tourneys when they are down. It's saved me a few chalk parlays. I'm surprised that Djoker would pull out in the quarters of Wimbledon. Not the best look.

Start using bookie that doesn't void bets.

Thanks niņo, I was kinda joking but not rly. What the hell happened with dominica thiem and Alexandria zverev?

I guess the smaller tourneys where they looked great was not a good indicator. Didn't think they'd win but at least get past Rao and berdy

I lost a unit on Zverev too I liked him as a doggie vs. Raonic. Thought we were golden up 2 sets to 1. I think it takes these younger guys awhile to gain the mental toughness to go far in the majors. Zverev is going to be a stud though.

Games like this make me appreciate the NFL's injury report - these sports make a lot of money off the interest the gambling markets generate - put an injury report up - gambling is legal in England.
