    question on french open future bet

    will my future bet get cancelled if players are not able to participate in the tournament? Laura got injured today is is unlikely to play in French open, but i placed a future bet on her.

    Most likely.Usually next to the catagory in most books it says all players are action

    Normally you can not wager against a player winning a tournament. So you should expect the bookie to keep your stake if an injury happens before the tournament, or during the tournament for that matter.

    Now that I think of it, if you use Betfair you can fade any player against winning a tournament. Would be very nice to have an insider in the French Tennis Association and know she isn't getting a WC for Roland Garros before anyone else does...
