Right now it seems to be mixed doubles but I don't know about the entire tournament. Turns out Pinnacle never sees much action on these games but a small number of people placed enormous bets.

That raised the red flags and Pinnacle called the Australian police.

I think Betfair may have also caught the suspicious activity.

I think the average legit wager trend is 2k. Pinnacle and Betfair were getting 25k bets from a small number of people.

Nearly all of the money, Blume said, came down for Hlavackova and Kubot, which he said was an indication that the match might be fixed.

Hlavackova and Kubot won, 6-0, 6-3. The first set lasted only 20 minutes.

I think they flagged the wagers prior to the match.

Yes they pay. With so many matches a day it's impossible for them to catch every fixed one.

I don't care for Tennis but when you have fixed matches in one 1 of the 4 majors it gets interesting.

Think of all the criminal activity that goes into it. Bribes, tax evasion and collusion at high levels.

Hard to believe that in the heat of the controversy, a player would fix their match. Some of the two Spaniards was most likely injured and that information reached someone in the betting business. The poor guys just wanted to tank and collect some appearance cash and are now considered fixers.

Davydenko was the most notorious fixer of them all. Well known for throwing matches, although it doesn't make so much sense to throw a match against Federer, where Federer nas a clear favorite.

The fixed matches tended to be ones where Davydenko was facing inferior competition that he should've crushed; Same with Dolgopolov.
