    Barthel vs Cornet analysis

    I was watching Barthel vs Osaka last night and Barthel had some serious trouble with her back. Fysio had to come on court aswell. Barthel was struggling real hard with her movement, she was not chasing balls at all. Its just that Osaka played extremely bad with a ton of unforced errors and double faults. I was actually amazed by her bad performence.
    Osaka was not taking advantage in that situation at all and didnt send Barthel from corner to corner. 80% of the time she was able to hit 1/2 shots and then the unforced error came.

    Cornet only has to stay in the rallies a bit longer then Osaka did en try to make Barthel run and I can see her definitely winning. I just dont think that issue with her back is fixable in less then 24hours.

    What do you guys think?

    I forgot to add here that Barthel retired after 1 set last week against Kuznetsova due to her back. And she had the same problem yesterday.
    I really consider backing Cornet here!

    It's Cornet, so she might not be that much more consistent than Osaka. But thanks for the info. Seems like a decent bet with a book that does not void the bets "if retired".
